after asking him twice to not flame and politely asking him to take it to a forum that is for unmoderated posts, his flaming  and offensive behaivior has made it impossible for any to understand. while i do not beleive in censorship which is taking things out of a post, and i particulary do not like over long posts, i accept that he has the right to post longs posts, and those such posts should be intact, but when the subject changes to flaming or other diatribe and is continous on a moderated group whose focas is rainbow and colorado. i felt that he need to be banned from further harming of people in this manner. some would have rather duct taped him or some other physical violence, that is not a good thing either. so removing him after repeated attempts to stop the diatribe against others ina kind way is the only option. he has been notified many times of the other group built for the purpose of being an unmoderated group, and what he says or anyone for that matter on that group is subject only to yahoo rules of conduct. and is unmoderated. i am sorry if this may offend some, but at some point someone has to take responsilbilty to act in such a manner as to do the least harm to the family as a whole.   thanks    mike

News Media libel/slander Alert: Rainbow Family Monkey Business,
distortions and misrepresentations of Rainbow Family by
"Angel Summer" aka "Summer Breeze" (real name unknown)
and Gary Stubbs of San Francisco Bay Area (apparently)

This post documents libel and slander against me as one
trying to bring out the truth and separate fact from fiction
and urban legend from reality as twisted minds like Gary
Stubbs and the well intended and well loved and respected
anonymous Rainbow Sister calling herself Summer Breeze
and/or Angel Summer both are attempting to exercise
leadership roles on behalf of the Rainbow Family Gatherings
while passing on the standard untruthful disclaimer of leadership.

Below is documentation of still unrepentant and not refuted
deliberate attempts by Angel Summer to undermine the spiritual
leadership authority of the Lakota spiritual leaders responsible
for the proper conducting of their sacred rituals like the inipi or
so-called sweat lodge that in recent years people have been actually
dying in misguided attempts without proper leadership while folks
like these below continue to irresponsibly spread false information
making monkeys out of themselves with urban legends such as the
"hundredth monkey parable" they claim justifies this dishonest
attitude of "no leaders" ie, no leadership responsibility.

Lawyer Lisa Alred's article is referenced and linked below where
she explains the problems with the commercialized "New Age"
movement that steals and commercializes for profit and personal
aggrandizement every possible idea and concept from religious
and spiritual disciplines, especially the Native American spiritual
traditions stolen and bastardized into unrecognizable philosophy
salad New Age practices that are now endangering lives such as
this sweat lodge controversy gone for months unadressed personally
by Summer Breeze as documented below while now lately she and
her vulgar henchman Gary Stubbs are circulating irresponsibly an
invitation without permission from the original writers calling for
100,000 immoral unethical hippies like them to converge on
Colorado in July for the annual Rainbow Family Gathering and
have even been circulating this irresponsible and inaccurate
"monkey business" document to the press as copied here.

The "Hundredth Monkey" is the name for a supposed phenomenon in which a
particular learned behaviour spread instantaneously from one group of
animals, once a critical number was reached, to all related animals in the
region or perhaps throughout the world. Largely due to popularisation of
this story, the "Hundredth Monkey" phenomenon is now thought by many to
occur in human populations with respect to ideas and beliefs in general even
though the original story has been discredited (Myers 1985).

The story of the "Hundredth Monkey" apparently originated with Lyall Watson
in his 1979 book Lifetide. In it he claimed to describe the observations of
scientists studying macaques (a type of monkey) on the Japanese island of
Koshima in 1952. Some of these monkeys learned to wash sweet potatoes, and
gradually this new behavior spread through the younger generation of
monkeys—in the usual fashion, through observation and repetition. However,
according to Watson the researchers noted that once a critical number of
monkeys was reached—the so-called hundredth monkey—this previously learned
behaviour instantly spread across the water to monkeys on nearby islands.

This story was further popularized by Ken Keyes with the publication of his
book The Hundredth Monkey. Keyes presented the "Hundredth Monkey" story as
an inspirational parable, applying it to human society and the effecting of
(positive) change therein. Since then, the story has become widely accepted
as fact, and has even appeared in books written by some educators.

Rupert Sheldrake has cited the "Hundredth Monkey Effect" as evidence of
morphogenetic fields bringing about non-local effects in consciousness and
learning.

In 1985, Elaine Myers re-examined the original published research in "The
Hundredth Monkey Revisited" in the journal In Context. In her review she
found that the original research reports by the Japan Monkey Center in vol.
2, 5 and 6 of the journal Primates differ from Watson's story in significant
ways. In short, it contains no evidence that the 'Hundredth Monkey'
phenomenon exists; the published articles only describe how the sweet potato
washing behavior gradually spread through the monkey troop and became part
of the set of learned behaviors of young monkeys. There is no evidence at
all of a critical number at which the idea suddenly spread to other islands,
and none of the original researchers ever made such a claim.

Despite the lack of supporting evidence for the story as told by Watson and
Keyes it is still popular among New Age authors and personal growth gurus
and has become an urban legend and part of New Age mythology. As a result,
the story has also become a favorite target of the Committee for the
Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal and was used as the
title essay in The Hundredth Monkey: And Other Paradigms of the Paranormal
published by them in 1991.

In his book Why People Believe Weird Things Michael Shermer, Ph.D., explains
how the urban legend started, was popularised, and has been discredited.

It is often claimed that the truth or falsity of the "Hundredth Monkey"
story is a secondary issue, and that its true value and significance is as a
sort of "transformative myth" that encourages those who believe in it to
have an optimistic view of the possibility of positive change, particularly
in human society.

(1997?) with Yamato we took Crow Dog's son Pedro

teacher Masao Nippashi took part.  Then  Yamato
took me to witness the Sundance at Crow Dog's Paradise
on the Global Peace Walk tour that year when I was

Shoshone Spiritual leader Corbin Harney who I have

in his tipi and typed up a form for him for eagle feather
permissions for his Sundancers waiting to go home with
them signed by him.  I reminded him of some of this on
the phone recently but until those phone calls I am sure
he could not exactly place me, my name with my face,
since I never stood out or was anything more than a
witness then. Now my time has come to stand up.

"Summer Breeze" posted that false information to a website
a long time ago and then to these rainbow lists recently.
I politely forwarded them for advice to Chief Arvol Looking
Horse via Paulah Horn.  She advised that this was the source
of a several years of problems they were having with challenges
to Arvol Looking Horse's leadership attributed to Chief Crow Dog
including such lies and false documents on the internet that have
contributed to such confusion that even in recent years folks
not following protocol have done hippie dippie new age sweat
ceremonies in which people have DIED because of false information
like what "Angel Summer Breeze" was circulating and still refuses to
acknowledge a corrected understanding to take that off the
internet and make amends by telling everyone that she was
wrong to do that.  I am the messenger in a strong way who
is being blamed for a righteous message of truth that you
and others are fighting on petty emotional grounds.

Angel Summer aka Summer Breeze has made a most terrible
reputation for those names and you are not helping by

I am NOT related to my great-grandfather Williams' namesake,
the famous David Crockett depicted by Walt Disney as Fess Parker.

My father worked as an accountant at Walt Disney Studio when
I was a kid during that TV show craze.  Then Fess Parker used to hail
my Dad across the studio lot, upon seeing him calling out to him as
"Hey Davy Crockett" because my Dad bore the burden of the same
name left to me, of David Crockett Williams, from his namesake
grandfather who loved him as a child and took him fishing etc, ie,
the first of our three Mississippi Williams Family David Crockett
Williams, only originally "named after" the famous guy Fess Parker
played on television, not related.  I never claimed, claim, or
implied or imply that I am related by blood to the guy who died
at the Alamo.  When as a little guy and I learned of my middle
name and told my playmates, they teased me calling me
David Crocodile.  My dad went simply by David C. Williams
and folks called him Dave.  I go by our full name and answer
to David in respect of my Father who loved me so well, who
died on my 40th birthday nearly "in my arms," and in respect
of my mother who named me, her eldest son, after my father
and who also loves me so well, and in respect of the special love
my father and his grandfather shared with/due their common
name which I carry on and try to make a good name of it.

Let me explain where my inspiration comes for "Bethel-One."
Obviously the site of Bethel Township (House of God Township)
in Sullivan County is where the miss-named Woodstock (NY) 1969
Festival actually took place, as is said, “The Concert Heard Around
the World,” marking the beginning of the World Peace and Love
“Hippie” Movement in America and around the world continued
as the annual Rainbow Family Gatherings fashioned as an “Acoustic
Woostock, Camping in the Mountains together as One Human Family.”

name or music motivation, this idea of a multi-cultural Culture of
Peace Exposition Venue, comes from Walt Disney for whom my

Boy Scout Explorer Post 25 when I turned 14 years old and my
dad and his friends at the studio set up this apprenticeship
program for the sons of the studio employees to learn the
motion picture production business inside out.  The different
dads were directors, writers, editors, camera people, grips,
etc and taught us all the skills over my four-year participation
finishing the last year as President of the Post 25 BSA.

During those years after the popularity of the Davy Crocket
TV shows etc, inspiring me about the movie business, after
the Disneyland park was made in Anaheim and all of us
Walt Disney Studio families, of “Uncle Walt”, went to the
pre-opening event, later Walt made plans for a second
location in Florida, but his plans were redirected after
he got old and the studio became instead of a family
business a corporate powerhouse.  Walt Disney’s vision
for what he wanted to do in Florida, expanded, is what
I have in mind for Sullivan County somewhere to be
determined and to make a few millionaires of folks
who want to be involved between now an August.

Walt Disney’s vision, for what was changed into just a
copy of Disneyland in California, was a theme park
where instead of Fantasyland, Frontierland, Tomorrowland,
etc, each segment of the park was completely made up
in the style of a village in a different country and culture
around the world.  So for example, a person taking a day
to walk through all the sections would have an intercultural
learning experience like a trip around the world. In each
section only that language would be spoken in the restaurants
serving authentic food from that country or culture, playing
authentic music from that culture, sytle of architecture,
clothing of all the workers in that part of the park etc.

This is also what I have in mind to make into “the most
popular television show ever, the Great Planetary Peace
Pilgrimage, based on the format of a moving staging
encampment that accompanies a long distance peace walk
from place to place on routes around the world with
Peace Walkers representing the different cultures and
languages showing how they can get along and have fun
and be as one human family despite differences in languages
and religions etc.  With a stage each night and popular
public personalities making cameo appearances on their
schedules along the route to add their draw to the show,
and with the camp kitchens featuring the food in rotation
each day of the various cultures represented by the walkers.”

This is what I have in mind for Bethel-One to establish as
a base there so close to NY City where my goal is to rally
ONE MILLION PEOPLE in sacred circle ceremony in Central
Park on Global Peace Sunday 17Sep06, as we did at the
end of the World Peace March of 1982 but not in a circle,
with then a stage and performances by many popular
musicians and spiritual leaders including Mahatma Gandhi’s
Guru, Nichidatsu Fujii and his monks who conducted that
World Peace March around the world ending at the UN
Second Special Session on Disarmament, who they gave
only 3 minutes of stage time for them to chant and beat
their drums offering the Na Mu Myo Ho Ren Ge Kyo
medicine word mantra for global peace in our times
which this year celebrates its 1600 year anniversary
of existence per translation of the Lotus Sutra into
its Chinese language of Na Mu Myo Ho Ren Ge Kyo
in Xian China.  This is the occasion for the Sacred Run
2006 from February 11 to April 22 San Francisco to
Washington DC where I am working towards a camp
20-28April at Greenbelt Park Maryland like the Longest
Walk of 1978 and the Long Walk for Survival of 1980
both from SF to DC had their end days camp so the
leaders could council and compile there advice
documents to present to the US government for peace.

What you apparently saw as a "flame of others" is a documentation
of wrongdoing that needs to be addressed by the folks on the
Colorado list who are being, now you too, intransigently against
the truth.  This prevailing attitude of irresponsibility, ie, "say
what you want  because it's all valid" (according to Angel Summer's
rhetoric at the end of her posts about her purple talking circles) belies
a dangerously irresponsible attitude, not only in her unrepentant
slandering of Lakota spiritual leadership, apparently because she
is opposed to responsible leadership as a matter of principle,
but especially this year in Colorado with a no-nonsense law
enforcement governor closely associated with President Bush,
and all who are for morality and ethics (whether you agree with
their standards of those or not), as opposed to this "anything goes,
it's all ok" BULLSHIT that folks are swallowing as The Rainbow Way,
NOT!!!!  Nobody including you seems to grok what I am getting at
in all these posts of mine to the ColoradoRainbowFamily list.

When you have a situation where tiny amounts of hemp cannabis
marijuana are the excuse for arrest and prosecution of folks in
Denver even in spite apparently of local State laws relaxing
the Federal laws which are apparently being enforced anyway
per the Governors' prerogative, how is it fair or proper to let
that irresponsible stuff posted and accepted by apparently all those
on the ColoradoRainbowFamily list, since not a soul has spoken
up against this nonsense, a list whose owner Allen Butcher thinks
he can abrogate his responsibility by making folks like you and
the Mad March person moderators by month so he can hide from his
own personal responsibility.

Any of these folks involved in promoting the "anything goes, it's
all ok, it's all valid" viewpoints like Angel Summer, are any of them
the ones who stand up with Plunker and Garrick and those few
who have to take the heat for such irresponsibility and even
serve months in prison over "permit issues" as did Barry Plunker
Adams and missing for the first time ever the gathering last year?

I have no bones to pick with you personally as you seem a fair
and honest person, but your sense of humor indicates perhaps
a bit not clear.  I have not read all recent posts but did you
address the question of where you got your PhD in Theology
since you said you are a doctor of theology?  Or was this a joke,
and if so how can one tell when you are joking or telling the
truth?  You said you are a "Blackfoot Indian" off of the Reservation
in Oregon.  And you said that your people have a different kind
of sweat lodge custom from the Lakota so therefore folks like
you, and by implication others, should feel free to do the sweat
lodge ceremonies the way they see fit.  Was this a joke too, like
your comment about not ever hearing of Jesus Christ, ha ha very
funny but a LIE.

Who are the Blackfoot leaders on the reservation under whom
you have learned about that tribe's "sweat lodge ceremony"?
Do they pray in their own language inside?  Do you?  Was this
a joke too?  Do you see that it is very serious that folks are
dying in sweat lodges and nobody wants to take responsibility
for the hippie dippie New Age attitudes of "anything goes, it's
all ok" and when you make comments like that about the sweat
ceremony it re-enforces folks' notions that they should be able
to "do it any way they want to," ie, no sense of right and wrong,
truth and untruth, etc.

For example, the Hopi have absolutely no sweat lodge ceremony
in their culture.  The Dineh, Navajo, that I visited on Big Mountain
where they do the Sundance annually conducted per Lakota
protocol with associated Lakota inipi/sweat ceremonies etc, they
follow the Lakota protocol for those sweat ceremonies even though
the are Dineh people.  In Dineh culture, I was told, they do have
a similar sweat lodge but usually dug into a dirt wall and only one
person goes in to participate, the Dineh medicine man whose it is.

Do you know for an historical fact that what you understand
as the Blackfoot people's sweat ceremony is independent
of being adopted generations ago from the Lakota people
as were so many of the tribes so influenced over centuries
by the Lakota leadership of the Peoples of the Sacred Pipe?

Are you the kind of person who cares about these things,
ie, right and wrong, or are you like Angel Summer, "it's
all ok, it's all valid, anything goes"?

coming from.  What is your real name.  You requested
a return receipt on an email which I sent back to you
confirming I read your one line indicating you were at
both the original Woodstock in 1969 and also at Vortex One
in 1970 that spawned the Rainbow Gatherings.  I believe
you and this means much I can learn from you once I figure
out how it is you are telling the truth between jokes that
are written as lies, eg, you never heard the name of Jesus
Christ before, ha ha.

I am your goodbrother working to save the good name of the
Rainbow Family from further disgrace as per well documented
criticism in Lisa Alred's article that is fully substantiated in the kinds
of behavior of Angel Summer and the Mad March Moderator.

Do you catch my drift yet brother?  All I am after is for folks to realize
their mistakes and acknowledge them and indicate a new understanding

and my posts unblocked, this entire matter at 5pm Pacific Time
