Do you cloth diaper, home birth or birth your babies in a birthing center, homeschool, breastfeed, not vaccinate or choose not to rely on allopathic medicine? If you do any or all of the above and are a military family or desire to become one, then this group just might be for you!

Struggling with a PCS, living somewhere new or trying to convince the Armed Forces that you don't have to vaccinate your child and CAN birth your babies at home is not something every person can relate to. We understand that life is hard enough when you choose to follow your own path, but being a military family has it's own set of challenges that can be downright difficult at times. Yes, we all know the lifestyle has it's many benefits, but the differences to civilian life are many. Not only are you not a civilian family, but you don't look like you came of a military assembly line either, lol!

I should also mention that while we are not a designated "Christian" group, all moderators as well as many of our members are Christians and our conversation at many times veers off on tangents along these lines.
We welcome people of all faiths, however some might find this knowledge helpful before they join.

Our list rules include absolutely NO flaming, or spam ie advertising businesses unless in your signature, though you may refer someone to your site if they ask for information.
