Welcome to the American Legion Riders, South Jersey Chapter, sponsored by Oaklyn-Bettlewood, Post 84, 705 Newton Ave, Oaklyn, NJ.

We are not a motorcycle club but are a group of veterans who ride motorcycles in support of America and it veterans in South Jersey. Membership is open to all who are current members of the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary or Sons of the American Legion.

Membership in this yahoo group is not membership in the American Legion Riders.

Our mission is to participate in parades and other ceremonies which are in keeping with the Aims and Purposes of the American Legion. To promote motorcycle safety programs and to provide a social atmosphere for American Legion members who share the same interest. To use our Association to promote and support programs of the American Legion.

Most importantly, we remember a time when our country was less than respectful to its veterans who returned from war. We will never let that happen again.
