Butta is for Anyone Bringing up Twins Triplets Alone, you may have become a lone parent through desertion, bereavement, divorce, separation, domestic violence, or by choice. Your partner may work away from home during the week, or be in the armed services or in prison. For whatever reason Butta hopes to be there. Anyone alone with multiples welcome.

I am Karen (but have started calling myself Kaz since losing 11 stone in weight) and I have boy/girl twins, Jescika (jesci) and Alexander (alex)born 26/06/95 and Ellysa 15 also live at home but is now 17 and at college. I have mostly always brought them up alone, but not through choice. I also have adult children and grandchildren which keeps me busy!

In this site I am trying to create a place for people to share and get together, whatever the reason they are doing most of the day to day care of their multiples.

I am still trying to think where the last few years have gone. There is always something more to do.

Alex is a scout and Jesci is a guide. If you have young boy girl twins you will also find that girls can join Rainbows a whole year before boys can join Beavers. I decided to wait till they where 6 and they both joined Beavers for a while. Most scout groups will take boys and girls but not guides they are still just girls. Ellysa is a young leader of Guides and also in St. Johns where she is a NCO, which is a cheaper option then most other groups. Worth looking into. They also learn a very important skill of helping others and of course first aid.

Both my twins are diagnosed with ADHD and can at times be difficult. Ellysa is also statemented for special needs.
