Aloka Foundation Education Project Team is an educational project undertaken by Alokarama Workshop participants on 24th Sept.2006 for the welfare and happiness of many.

Our Vision A model institution for Buddhist education.
Our Mission To propagate the Dharma to the young, for their spiritual development and well-being, through the joy of learning, practicing and sharing, in a warm, supportive and inspiring Buddhist environment.
Our Strategic Values

As we live in times of turbulence, uncertainty and natural catastrophes in various parts of the world, there is a need for us to involve ourselves and others to help the needy students. Being involved in Aloka Foundation allows us to manifest metta (loving kindness) from our hearts to compassion in action. While serving others out of compassion, we will be able to tap into our past knowledge and skills in order to develop our potential, and that will lead us to realise the true purpose and meaning of our life.

May the underpriviledge children, benefit from our project and may the Buddha Sasana guild us to the Right Path in acheiving our aspirations.
