know when you want to go and see how much change we
can get but my dect was acting up when I was diving
so I may have to take it in and have it checked out.

Hi all! We can never have too many clubs about
treasure hunting.

On the off chance that some one
detected it-I lost my Middle Park High School class ring
in a park in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1968 (three
months after I got it!) I didn't get into detecting
until 1971 and have never gone back to that park.

Thank you for the invitation! Now I invite all of
you to join our club as well. Search yahoo clubs for
boisebasinsearchandrecovery (all one word) and join us too. I want to be
scuba certified so that I can also metal detect
underwater. There are some potentially great spots here in
Boise, ID. My best finds so far in a year and a half of
hunting are:
three seated liberty dimes
one seated
liberty quarter (1854!)
one Barber quarter
two
walking liberty 50 cent pieces
eight indian head
pennies
six gold rings
twenty-two silver rings
several
trade tokens of varying value
and about two hundred
dollars in modern change
Not bad for 18 months
right?
What are some of your best finds?
By the way, we
have meetings (in person) the first sunday of every
month and give away prizes for the best finds in five
categories:
tokens, jewelry, coins, gold nuggets, and artifacts. We
also generate a newsletter every month and are always
looking for stuff to write about in it, so let me know!!

I have been looking for a outboard boat motor in
35 foot of water in one of the local lakes, The main
problem we are having is the fact that this lake is a
black water dive. Its not easy finding things in water
that you can't see 1 inch in front of you. In clear
water its easy to find things, I was in on finding a
womans diamond wedding ring in 35 foot of water. And to
make it even better is that the ring had been
underwater for 5 months. So if any of you need some thing
found underwater I have some dive buddies thats always
ready to go just like I am I always try to keep a tank
of air ready where I can go on a phone call.
