Most caches are found by people who are hunting for something else, like
relics or coins.

This week's podcast offers some tips to increase the odds that you'll
find your jar of coins or that tobacco tin full of paper money.

Go to http://thetreasurecorner.com and click the pink button to hear the
short (four minutes) show on your computer.

Jesse James' Hidden Treasure
For anyone who has not seen this or would like to see it again this program is
going to be rebroadcast on the History Channel on Wednesday, November 25 at 8am
and 2pm est.

Jesse James' Hidden Treasure
"By the time Jesse James was killed in 1882, he'd stolen over a million and a
half dollars according to some estimates--gold, coins and cash that could be
worth over $50 million today. History often paints James as a clever outlaw who
stole money to finance a lavish criminal lifestyle, a man whose sixteen year
long crime spree came to a dramatic halt in 1882 when a fellow gang member
betrayed him and shot him dead in the back of the head. But now, a treasure hunt
may reveal a totally new story. Was Jesse really stealing for himself, or was he
actually secreting away large sums of wealth, in order to finance one of the
most clandestine secret societies in American history? Follow a team of treasure
hunters searching for where he stashed his riches... and a new truth about Jesse
James. Their discoveries may not only re-write the history of why Jesse stole,
it could also raise new questions about his death."

hello i have a sight that is puzzled me for many years it has a Jesse James
carved in a large rock in the center of a large cave in eastern Kentucky but
heres the strange of it all first the J s are backwards the hook is in instead
of out and the previous owner says the family owned it during the 1812 earth
qwak that brought the big rock down from the roof and placed it right in the
middle there is another deeper cave with a much smaller entrance to the left of
the big cave as to in the direction the js point if the j being inverted for a
just reason there are other symbols and letters in other areas of the bluffs but
no other Jesse reference this would have been on the route to the  Kentucky kin
the russulville bank job and liberty Mo. so i think the name to be authentic but
ive only uncovered spent shells from the time period Indian artifacts railroad
ties excetera my question does the js have a significance and is the a possable
KGC stash thanks

I'm going through my old magazines, hundreds of them dating back to 1969,
noting what stories are in what issues because I plan on selling them.

I'm having a ball!

Old treasure magazine ads are fascinating, and they let you trace the
history of the metal detector, from BFOs to TRs to TR-Discriminators to
VLF to TR/VLF - each in turn being touted as the greatest detectors ever!
And many of the brands are long gone.

You old-timers will remember Jetco, Relco, D-Tex, Gardiner, Gold
Mountain, A.H Pro, Daytona, Compass (sob), and C&G with their cat-family
names: Bobcat, Lynx, Wildcat, and Tomcat.

And the stories! Lost mines, sunken ships, buried robbery loot, ghost
towns, and lots of people dying (naturally, or by the rope) before
revealing where they hid their treasures....

Who needs modern-day thriller novels when we have these (perhaps) true
stories to enjoy?

My latest podcast (internet radio show you can listen to on your computer
anytime) is about old magazines. Listen by clicking the pink button at
this site:

"Gullible" is what the skeptics want you to believe. That's a psychological
tactic used to hoodwink ignorant people. "You can't pull that on me. I'm too
smart to be taken by a con artist." Don't forget Carl wants people to donate
their LRL to his collection!

A lot of wannabe treasure hunters have the get-rich-quick fever. They buy an LRL
and expect to become a millioniaire in a week or two. Then reality sets in. It
just ain't as easy as it first appears. Most people try to learn LRL's on their
own. This is difficult and takes a lot more practice than most dealers let on.
One skeptic said he could learn how to use a rod in twenty minutes! That is so
delusional. I spend twenty minutes just to get warmed up sometimes. Even if you
know how to use one there are no guarantees you will find a big cache. There are
so many variables involved, the main one being able to get access to the
property. And like I say, if it was easy it probably has already been found. So
it's back to the 5% find 95% of all treasure. All I can say is the skeptics are
a bunch of whiners. They are not treasure hunters and never will be.

You had just told me they all are frauds and none of them work so that would
encompass the ones that they make also..I don’t think its right to be sending
my emails to anyone without my consent….kellyco sells a lot of good products
but if you are going to knock these type of products you will have to include
theres also..they do not show any more promise than any other out there..on the
other side of the coin prove to me it works and I will give praise all over the
net on their product…Maybe they are all BS but if you find something by taping
into a higher plain ..I have no problem with that as long as it produces
finds…its all about the end results..

Sure, it's fun to find coins - free money and all that - but most
treasure hunters dream of finding a cache. A jar of silver coins, an old
tobacco tin stuffed with five-dollar gold pieces, or a metal box full of
diamonds, emeralds, and rubies.

Cache hunting is unlike any other form of metal detecting, and this short
podcast (internet radio show you can listen to on your computer anytime)
has some tips to get you started in the right direction.
