Description

South Carolina, like most other states is being hit with animal rights legislation. Defend your right to own pets! The All South Carolina Pet Law is moderated for flames, trolls, off-topic posts. We discuss how to fight bills or laws negatively affecting pet ownership: dogs, cats, birds, small mammals, reptiles, others. Federal, state, local legislation, zoning, breed bans, mandatory spay and neuter, breeder registration, breeder licensing, breeding bans, etc. This is a place to share ideas, resources approaches, etc. "Animal Rights" (AR) questions okay for educational purposes, but this is not an animal rights debate list. We are most interested in specific legislation within South Carolina. Breeders, rescuers and pet owners are ALL welcome -- we're in this together and must learn to work together if we are to own pets in the future.
Please make an individual effort to stay focused and on topic, to include dog laws, bird laws, cat laws, pet laws, breeders, rescue law, breeder licenses. The moderators will remove trolls -- if you want to be on a list, get your own.
