This yahoo group is for members and alumni of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity living or working in the Chicago land area.

It is used in conjunction with the Chicago Area Kappa Sigma Alumni Association web page located at: http://www.kappasigmachicago.com

This group allows us to coordinate chapter events (i.e. monthly lunches downtown and a variety of regular events), reconnect with old friends, make new friends, business network with each other, and share invites for personal events (i.e. just watching a game at a bar, meeting up for tee time, etc.).

Requirements to join the Yahoo Group:
1. Initiation into Kappa Sigma and good standings with IMH.

2. We find you on an alumni or initiation list. Don’t worry, we’ll work with you.

We need to verify that everyone is an initiate and do this by referencing the extensive list of alumni that live in the area (updated by IMH) or the Brother Services directory at http://www.kappasigma.org If you receive the Caduceus at an Illinois address or have lived in the area for 4+ years, then we should have you on our alumni list. Else, please sign up with Brother Services at the IMH site and make your profile searchable. (It only takes a few minutes to register and a couple of days for IMH to verify your information. Let us know when they list you.)

If you received a snail-mail invite/newsletter from us in June or July, we already have you listed - simply join by following the steps below:

Steps to Join the Yahoo group:
1. Click “Join This Group” in the upper right of this page and apply for membership.
Note: A Yahoo ID is required to join. If you do not have a Yahoo ID, simply click “Join This Group” on the above link; then click “Sign Up”. It can be tied to any email address so there is no need to create a new one.

2. Please include your full name, initiation chapter and initiation year in the “Comment to Owner” section when joining the Yahoo Group.
