I believe we shouldn't just be going after lifetime alimony we should be going
after alimony altogether. My boyfriend although not paying lifetime alimony was
sentenced to pay alimony for 18 years at the age of 47 which means until the age
of 65. 18 years is an extremely long time - in this time I believe she would be
able to get her life together within 4 years but of course the court systems
allow her to just live off the ex-husband.
