The AlbanyCorvallis ReUseIt group is open to people in Albany, Corvallis, Tangent, Millersberg, Philomath, Lebanon, Jefferson, Crabtree, Adair Village, Monmouth, Independence, and other surrounding local communities.... in Oregon.

Our goal is to prevent usable items from ending up in the local landfill by re-gifting those items to other members who can put them to good use, while promoting the reduction of clutter and making new friends in the process.

There is a catch, everything must be free. (no trade/barter).

Rich or Poor, all are welcome here. Our list is not a resource based upon need. Recycling is for everyone. It's just neighbors helping neighbors, one gift at a time. Non-Profit organizations also may benefit from Albany-Corvallis ReUseIt.

**When posting to our group, please use the following subject headings for your emails:

OFFER: item /city (Something you wish to re-gift)
WANTED: item (asking for an item, use sparingly)
TAKEN: item (for when you have chosen someone to receive your gift)
RECEIVED: item (for item you posted a "wanted" for and received)

=>We currently do not allow curbside/free for all/first come offers.
