Joyous Christmas greetings to one and all,
As of December 1st, 2009 I am pleased to reflect that I have been in business for five wonderful years! It is a completely different life being in business for myself. I am truly blessed that you all have made it possible.

I once again will be selling my massage Christmas gift certificates at
Totally Fit. They are open Monday-Friday.
Also, here at Paradise, I have quality calendars for sale for only $6.00. They are gorgeous and make a lovely gift; the proceeds go to help our youth activities at church.

I was handed a flyer today from my associate, Valerie Rector LMT from Ipava. She owns a delightful, rustic massage/wellness spa  in Ipava and she has been conducting workshops from her home office.

                                      Wellness workshop
Tues, Dec. 15, 2009
At: Tree of Life body shop, 10 N Orchard, Ipava,IL
2:30-5:00 and 6:30-8:30
Topics will include strengthening the immune system with nutrition, things to consider when choosing supplements, How radiation affects us, Ways to prevent swine flu, and keeping our body chemical free. There will also be a few free demonstrations of the chi machine, ion cleanse, detox, and ear candling.
Both workshops will have the same agenda. there is no fee to attend! for more info call 309-753-1100 or 309-753-8627

Reminder---I will be increasing my rates just slightly in January 2010.

If you would prefer to be taken off this E-mail list  do not hesitant to let me know.

Merry Christmas and Happy New year 2010,
                                                       Penny Scrogum LMT

Becky,
I just excepted an invitation earlier today for the same day.  Thanks though.  I hope you have a great holiday with the boys.  Children make it very special.  Pam

Oh Dawn, you will still be smokn' hot when you are 89.

On Thursday and Friday of this week the Dance department will have their winter dance concert. One of the dances they are performing is African. They had someone show them the actual moves and they choreographed it using that knowledge. If any one is interested in going, you can get tickets from the box office. Also, Candace Winters-March said that she would gladly come and teach us what they learned if we would like.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

And I'd have to have some advance notice to schedule it - so it's really up to
the troupe and to Richard as far as if anyone is available and if so, which
Tue/Thurs.

After the experience Dawn and I had last time, I am kind of gun shy on this one.
I would only do it if someone will absolutely guarantee me in writing that there
will be several people come. A duet is not a good representation of our troupe.

Hi all from your distant member, but big fan!

Hope you all are doing well. Once again I would like to invite you to come and
perform for my Music in World Cultures class. We will be studying music and the
arts in the Middle East this week and would love for you to come and dance for
the class. I am late in this request because I have way too many plates spinning
in my life. I was thinking that if some of you were available and willing to
come, that we could not only have a demo, but also a small lesson in some basic
moves.

My class meets in Browne 220 from 11 - 12 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I may even
be able to have our class in the multicultural center dance studio. We had a
salsa/meringue lesson in there a few weeks ago and the students loved it!

Let me know what you think. I do realize it is a difficult time to get out of
work/class.
Hope it works out.

Hi all from your distant member, but big fan!

Hope you all are doing well. Once again I would like to invite you to come and perform for my Music in World Cultures class. We will be studying music and the arts in the Middle East this week and would love for you to come and dance for the class. I am late in this request because I have way too many plates spinning in my life. I was thinking that if some of you were available and willing to come, that we could not only have a demo, but also a small lesson in some basic moves.

My class meets in Browne 220 from 11 - 12 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I may even be able to have our class in the multicultural center dance studio. We had a salsa/meringue lesson in there a few weeks ago and the students loved it!

Let me know what you think. I do realize it is a difficult time to get out of work/class.
Hope it works out.
Rich

Hi All, Tracy Lomax, former Banat member, had opened Images on West Main street in Bushnell.  She has to vacate the property.  She is very interested in liquidating the inventory.
She has Nostalgia-type items, drastically reduced (up to 90%).  Please contact her at 309-252-1399 for more information.   Thanks, Patti Bloom

Hey I am looking at my class line up for next semester and I will not be able to do Wednesdays, but my parts are usually easy enough to pick up so you guys figure out what works best and I will make it work from there.

Is there a date/time that would work better? or do we want to stick with wednesdays before Anne's class?

Shoot!

I'm sorry - I teach yoga from 5-6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  I don't think I can realistically get there before 6:15.  Of course you all can meet and I can jump in when I'm done.

Happy Friday everyone!

We could have practices on Tuesday. Simpkins is available from 5-7, but people will be coming in there by 6:45, so we probably should try to start around 5:30. Would this work for everyone?

Thanks.
