I'm in the process of making a list of them and
when I get it finished I will let you know. I also
thought that there was more than just you and myself in
this club, and yes anyone who would like to join our
collictive talk sure is welcome to join. By the way how do
you like the club picture, I know that it isn't a car
but it is where I got my name from. Pretty cool huh!

Blue, are you and I the only members of this club
? ? I could have swore that there were some other
members when I joined. Come on everyone, join in the
collictive talk here, I'm sure Blue wont care and would
probably welcome you into the discussion.
Blue what
mopar cars has your son got at present? ?
later.

kind of cars is your son interested in at this time ?
? If I know then I can keep my eye out for them and
let you know when I find one.
later.

And A Very Happy Thanksgiving to you and your
family too Blue. Telling me to watch out for the over
eating monster comes to late at this stage of my life,
girl, you should have warned me years ago.

The vette I happened to find online and that was through amazon.com . Those
trucks that you picked up sound alright but right now my son isn't into the
trucks.

havent seen the 58 vette yet here and your right
on the k-mart thing got two within 5 miles of each
other and they never have the same things on their
shelves. The three I picked up were all 40 ford trucks,
old pepsi trucks, one tanker, panel truck and a
pickup with barrels and boxes. Anyway thought you might
want to know about it. Still cant get this net cam
working but that isnt anything new cause I also cant get
my burner to work either, darn.
later

Here in MN our closest K-Mart the last time I was
in there didn't have any die cast cars but I will
have to go and check it out again if you all down in
KY have them. I am picking my son up a 1958 red
corvette convertible for christmas and I think he will
like it, cuz I did it sure looks sharp.

Yeah, I understand that cuz there are alot of times when something can be right

happens alot here too. LOL
later

I used the very same things to put many pictures
online in the past and am not above using them again in
the future. And I may add that thought had nothing to
do with your overlooking that way of doing the
pictures. Some things are so clear that you dont even
realize it. Happens a lot here all the time.
lol.
later

I guess I didn't think of those options. So, thank you and yes I have a camera
and a scanner so those ideas are certainly worth looking into.

Do you have access to a regular camera ? ? Or a
scanner ? ? If you take pictures of the models with a
camera and have them developed you can usually ask to
have the pictures put on a floppy disk so you can load
them into your computer. If you have access to a
scanner you can scan the pictures yourself. Just a
thought from the peanut gallery here in the back of the
room. lol.
later

Thank you for the show of concern about my
daughter and again another thank you for working on
putting some pics in the album for my son. One thing that
I don't have is a web camera, that is one thing
that I just can't aford right now, so I can't put any
pics in myself.

Hello LinusLam666 and Welcome you certainly given
us alot to look at and yes you are right about all
the research but as of right now with everything
going on I haven't taken the time to do any of that
sort of stuff for my son but hopefully here soon I can
give it a try. I will certainly show my son the die
cast cars that you sent in the url and I will almost
bet that he will love them.

Yes Kochila this site is for my son and he is a
collector of 1:18 scale cars and he happens to have 28 and
most of them are mopars with the exception of a few
like his pink cad. that is the only die cast that
Graceland will back. I think for a 4 year old he has a nice
collection started and he is very partial to
it.

later

Hi all,
Just so I don't have to explain
everything, check out my 1/18th scale website collection at:
http://www.usagichan.com/Highway18/

Anyway, been
collecting for like 3 years now.. and only
recently have started getting more comfortable with the
hobby (like researching on future releases and
differences in manufactuer designs). I think it's almost as
challenging as trying to buy the REAL thing for certain
models...
I guess if you have any questions, feel free to
reply...
- Lionel

Hello again Blue
Am I correct in my assumption
that this is your sons club ? ? And what,if I may ask,
kind of die cast has he collected so far ? ? My
current collection includes over 35 1:18 cars and trucks,
mostly the muscle cars of the 60's with a few cars and
trucks thrown in for good measure.
later
