This group is for discussions and announcements related to the Alameda Ceili group.

The Alameda Ceili is a community dance group meeting in Alameda, CA every Monday from 8-11pm at the Alameda Ballet Academy at 1402 Park Street. The Alameda Ceili offers Irish social dance in a casual, non-competitive setting. Admission (with or without taking the class) is $5 donation*. There are classes for Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced dancers weekly.

Our motto is, "If you can walk, you can do this dance." A beginner will be able to do every third dance. A beginner who knows how to waltz will be able to dance 2 out of 3 dances on their first night.

* We request a $5 donation to help cover the cost of renting the hall and basic liability insurance. Alameda Ceili organizers and instructors are volunteers.
