Description

Group #572 is the local Peoria, Illinois chapter of Amnesty International. We meet at 6 PM every first Wednesday of the month at the The Lakeview Branch of the Peoria Public Library. We advocate on behalf of international human rights mainly by writing letters to government and corporate officals thoughout the world. We are currently involved with the following campaigns/issues:(1) Israel/Occupied Territories,(2)Stop Torture Campaign, and (3) stopping human rights abuses in general.
