agta : Focus on the Agta peoples

Description

Agtas are the aboriginals on the eastern side of Luzon island.
They belong to the Negrito race.
They are extremely endangered because of
- interbreeding with Filipinos due to the forced assimilation and integration politics,
- loss of their ancestral lands
- destruction of their once rainforested tribal lands
- missionary activities
etc.
