This group is for folks who farm, homestead, grow a few plants on a rooftop in a city, raise animals, eat food raised on a farm, or drove past a farm one time!

We desire to swap information on garden plants, selling at farmers markets, canning, freezing, cooking, and providing good nutritious food from our own good soil.

If you have never raised an animal or planted anything you are welcome, it probably won't take long to make you a convert!

Keep it clean, informative, and friendly. Children should be able to use this group with their parents to learn something about the Good Earth.

Arguments are a waste of time. Good discussion benefits everyone. My take is that if someone does something differently than I do they may not be stupid, they may know something that I don't know. To those who enlighten me with different products and methods, I am eternally grateful!
