Agape Sangha welcomes former members of existing Buddhist traditions, self-practicing Buddhists, and non-Buddhist religions. We respect and value diversity of background, belief and practice. Our Purpose is to 1) Transmit core Buddhist teachings. 2) Promote *true* peace, nonviolence and the end of suffering. 3) Provide standardized training for those who wish to teach the Dharma. 4) Promote appreciation, fellowship, and understanding of various religious traditions. and 5) Assist in worthy projects worldwide. Our Practice - achieving our Purpose in the spirit of Principles (below) as members of this engaged Sangha - for the benefit of all sentient beings.
