This Yahoo Group was founded by Sandra Brown Sandy knew Bob Seger in the early years of his career, when she was just a teenager. Back in those days, she was known as Sandy Newsom, and she was also Vice President of the Bob Seger System Fan Club.

Besides Bob, Sandy Brown also befriended his mother, and together they shared time and special memories.

This Yahoo Group, "AgainstTheWind4BobSeger", is dedicated to Bob Seger's legendary life and works... and especially to the Loving Memory of his wonderful and caring Mother, Mrs. Charlotte Seger.

As Sandy says today, "I sure do miss Mrs. Seger! She was a very special and lovely lady. Of course I miss Bob also... But Bob, you made it!! I am so happy for you! What an inspiration you are to all of us! And Bob, your Mother was also an inspiration to those of us who were blessed to be fortunate enough to have known her".

I just wanted, in my own small way to let you know, Bob, that your Mother, Mrs. Charlotte Seger lives on in our hearts and will never be forgotten. This is dedicated to her!!
