The purpose of this group is three fold:

1. To promote the passing of a federal bill (H.R. 503 and S. 311) making horse slaughter and transportation of horses to slaughter outside the United States illegal.

2. To prevent other slaughter houses from opening in any states by changing or enforcing local ordinances against horse slaughter.

3. To banish horse slaughter from the world.
