This group is a special "family of families" who have recently adopted children with Down syndrome and other special needs internationally through the Reece's Rainbow Down Syndrome Adoption Ministry. Confidentiality and SUPPORT is required here. Families seeking help and "sistership" here can do so without worrying about being judged. Everyone's adoption experience is different, including their emotions and adjustment progress once you return home. Adopting a child with special needs is a life-saving gift, but it doesn't always mean an instant bond or attachment. This group is designed for EVERYONE who has adopted through Reece's Rainbow.
