This is a singles group for natural lesbians of African Descent. You don't have to sport afros n locs to be a member, but you must have the Natural Sista Attitude. If you're Spiritual, intelligent, Active in your community, creative, artist(or at least appreciative of the arts)or political and not into roles(butch/femme) and if you find the whole advent of some of our people embracing terms like b*tch, Hoe, and N*gga, etc totally ridiculous, repulsive and/or sad and you are looking for like minded women, this is the place for you. As a member of other lesbian groups, I keep running into the same thing over and over again; Limited topics (who is butch/femme, what kinda s*x do you have, where's the party, etc.) sometimes a sister will email me privately to ask where the enlightened and mature sisters, sisters who are concerned about what's happening in the world around them and are attempting to make things happen, and the sisters who are free from preconceived notions of what a lesbian should/should not be and are on their spiritual journies, all that and single too. I realized that,like myself, they find those list very juvenile and not at all what they're feeling and they don't post. I wanted to change that on this list, rearrange the dynamics and start a group for like mind lesbians of African Descent.

There are a few rules that we have here:
1. You must be 21+
2. You must be Single and say so in your profile
3. You must be a female
4. You must have a Yahoo! profile w/picture of yourself(not a cartoon, caricature, celebrity,etc)w/age, gender.
5. You must be a lesbian (there are plenty of other lists for bi/bi-curious women
6. There are no butch/femme dynamics here, only women who love women
7. You're email settings are set to either "daily digest" or "Individual Emails".
8. nothing offensive in your profile (i.e. p*rnographic pictures, foul language, etc.)
9. No flaming/personal attacks on other members
