Description

Adoptive Families of the Capital Region (AFCR) is based in the Albany, NY area. We are an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization supporting families formed through adoption.

We offer educational, social and cultural events throughout the year. We also have workshops that help individuals and families considering adoption. Our membership represents families formed through domestic infant, older child, special needs, foster care and international adoption from over 20 countries. Our membership also includes prospective parents and adoption professionals.

To keep volume low, this group is for announcements only - moderators are the only members allowed to post messages. If you are interested in chatting with other AFCR members, please join our other group, afcr-chat.
