This is a general discussion list run by the Assembly of The Elder Troth. It is the AET's general communications list. Joining this list does not confer acceptance of any points of view, albeit granting as much tolerance of others as you expect yourself is a good measure.

Please remember that you are writing to other human beings here, so please exercise the etiquette you would use when speaking to someone face to face.

1. All attachments are automatically deleted, this is to minimise the issue of virus transmission. If you do have something to share with the list, please upload it to the Files or Photos section.

2. All members have access to the message archive, members list, files area, calendar, polls and so forth. It is up to you to use them responsibly.

3. Your messages and replies go to all members, so, think ahead... re-read your words if necessary.

4. Our primary language is Australian English. Although you will find quotes in Old Norse and maybe Old English, etc. And no doubt there will be persons from other nations here who may have slightly different vocabularies, so think accordinly.

5. Subjects for this list is anything that relates to the life of Asatruar, and the Assembly of Elder Troth.

6. Whilst the list is unmoderated, it is watched over by myself... that is not to say that you can't get hot under the collar or intense once in a while, but continual abuse, attacks etc, will see you moderated... you have been warned.
