Description

Welcome to Adoption Agency Abuse (or AAA)Yahoo Group. This group was created to help people find a place to vent their frustrations with their current or past adoption agencies. When my own agency CAII (Commonwealth Adoptions) announced they were closing their doors I thought, my God, what about all those families out there in the same boat as us?? That is how this group was spawned...

This group is meant to be informative as well as a pleasant place for new parents as well as veteran parents to exchange ideas and help one another through the trials that can sometimes arise with agencies. It's understandable to be hesitant to discuss an agency and it's practices, and many of you may choose to just read, but please feel free to talk on here.

Membership is required. People wishing to join this group can NOT be associated (working for) an agency in any way...including volunteer work. Facilitators are welcome...but, if you work FOR an agency, you may not join and if you are allowed to your membership will be moderated. This is meant to be a "safe place" for people to talk... let's keep it that way.

So, with all of that being said, welcome to the group and please do not hesitate to offer up ideas and suggestions...that's what this group is here for.
