The links are working here now Jim with IE 8, but note that I had to
exit ADIF 224.htm (which I had left open from my previous tests) and
re-open it.

Actually, I don't think many of the other internal links work either - not just
the contents. I think I may
have run across one or two that seemed to work but most didn't work. They yield
404 errors.

Its a trivial thing, but would it be possible to associate callsigns to
future poll results?
Not everyone uses their callsign in their E-Mail address.

Dave,

Its a trivial thing, but would it be possible to associate callsigns to
future poll results?
Not everyone uses their callsign in their E-Mail address.

Character encoding of Croatia and Ireland subdivision names in
"ADIF 224 proposed changes.txt" and "ADIF 224 proposed.htm" in
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/adifdev/files/
is broken.

The HTML file uses charset=windows-1252. The subdivision names of
Croatia contain diacritics like Caron missing from windows-1252.

We might need to switch the encoding of the HTML file to Unicode.

Rich W3ZJ has discovered that if WinWarbler is running, neither Vista nor
Windows 7 will shut down; this happens independent of WinWarbler's Operating
Mode.

Until I determine the cause of this and correct it, anyone relying on an
Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS)to automatically shut down Windows Vista or
Windows 7 when its battery power is near exhaustion should not leave WinWarbler
running unattended.

Most laptops behave as if they contain a UPS.
