Adele began writing poetry at the age of fourteen, and at seventeen became a member of Leigh Writers' Workshop, and she went on to write and illustrate a monthly dream analysis column for Your Future magazine.
A regular guest on 7 Waves Radio, Adele's fiction has also been broadcast on City Talk FM's Zone Unknown.
Three of Adele's short stories appear in anthologies published by Hadley Rille Books - Seagull Inn in Ruins Terra (2007); Old World Magic in Ruins Metropolis (2008); and Project in Barren Worlds (2008). Published by Dark Moon Press, Dark of the Night: An Anthology of Shadows (2006) featured Adele's story, The Club, which features Jason who also appears in Adele's novel, Rowan, which is the second in a Dark Fantasy series set in Liverpool and Wirral, the first being called Tamsin. A third novel, Bethany Rose, is currently being written (as of Aug 2008).

Adele was elected Chair for Riverside Writers in 2003, a post she still holds. She has been a member of the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids since 1999, and became a member of the Cryonics Institute in 2008.
She has lived on the Wirral peninsula in Cheshire since the Millennium, where she writes full-time. She shares life with one husband, two dogs, two cats, an assortment of hedgehogs and bats, and a large black toad who lives under the back step.
