Hello my name is Jason Harmon. My parents are Clifton Harmon and Shirley McGaha. I have been deeply involved with my genealogy in Adair County, Kentucky since the day my mom dropped me off at the Adair County courthouse annex to look at marriage bonds when I was about 13. I graduated from Waldron Jr/Sr. High School in Indiana and later attended Indiana University majoring in Political Science and minoring in History. I married Brianna Underwood in 1999 in Las Vegas, NV. We have 3 daughters, Ivy Harmon, Julia Harmon and Emma Harmon. I am still very active in our family tree and get to Columbia every chance that I can. I also write stories for Columbia Magazine about my Burton Ridge heritage. Stories that were handed down to me, partly through research and partly through my families great oral tradition. Genealogy/history of Adair County, Kentucky and her people.
