This group is formed to discuss, investigate, and even attempt to restore underemphasized aspects of the apostles' doctrine. We will visit topics of a wide range of interests, including house church, the wineskin paradigm, scripture interpretation (hermeneutics), spiritual warfare, evangelism, the identity and place of Israel in God's plan, the five-fold ministry, apostolic and prophetic activation, and any other topic that the Holy Spirit may lead us to explore together.

A fair warning to all that would join this group: The purpose of Acts 2:42 is discussion and debate. Sometimes you will see extensive debates where points are back and forth many times. If you do not enjoy debate and/or prolonged discussion then this is probably not the group for you. ;-)

The goal then is not to "win" per se -- although there is nothing wrong with being right...when you're right. But our chief goal here at Acts 2:42 is to *learn* from each other and especially for us to reflect the character of Christ throughout our interactions with fellow forum members. :-)
