Aurora Australis Thelemic Temple is a New Aeon research and teaching station based in Wollongong, Australia. It aims are in harmony with Crowley's vision, rituals and initiated teachings. AATT accepts Liber Al vel Legis (The Book of the Law) as its primary text and we are dedicated to an immanent and transcendent view of divinity energising the cosmos as well as to the idea that "every man and woman is a star". The Temple works with all forms of pagan and ritual magick including Alchemy, Chaos magick. Enochian, Goetia, Maat Magick. Tarot, Tantra, etc, and with the Great Work through Gnostic and Hermetic traditions. Like the OTO, we are dedicated to securing individual liberty, and his or her advancement in Light, Life and Love.
This group is intended to help bring together beginners and experienced practitioners of ceremonial magick, with an emphasis on practical workings related to Aleister Crowley's philosophy and the magick of the Age of Horus.
We also work with various Left Hand Path traditions and energies including those of Set, Typhon and Lilith. We are exploring cross-cultural fertilisation with pagan & goddess paths, with special emphasis on political pagan activism as represented by the Reclaiming Witchcraft tradition. We are especially interested in Australian and New Zealand esoteric fraternities and practitioners, including Rosaleen Norton, Leilah Waddell and Frank Bennett (Fr. Progradior).
