The Alberta Association of Library Technicians (AALT) is an organization dedicated to
fostering and enhancing the professional image of Library Technicians. AALT was formed in
1974 to help promote a wider understanding and acceptance of the Library Technician's status
in Alberta and to assist in the implementation of recognized provincial education standards.

The purpose of this discussion forum is to facilitate and encourage easy communication among library technicians in Alberta and those interested in the LIT field. Here, we can discuss anything that pertains to library and information technology: upcoming events and workshops, education, career opportunities, seek professional advice from your peers, etc.
