We are a completely secular (though open to people of all faiths or lack thereof) local support group for unschooling and homeschooling families in the greater Ann Arbor area. Unschooling generally means allowing the children to learn in a less-structured atmosphere, but we are open to all homeschoolers so long as they respect those of us who don't use curricula. We offer weekly activities in a relaxed atmosphere with open-minded families and online discussion. Please note that this is a real life group that communicates via this YahooGroup. We are not simply an on-line forum and we want all of our members to participate in gatherings as well as on this list. And new members are always welcome!
