The goal of this list is to be a place where artists with an anarchist or anti-authoritarian sensibility can exhibit their work. A virtual gallery. Also a place for artists and those interested in anti-authoritarian art to engage with each other, share ideas, imagery and whatever. While it is anticipated that there will be strong visual orientation, those involved with other media – whether digital, video, words or sound are free to participate.



All art that confronts established beliefs, authority and traditions may be considered Anarchist Art. Perhaps some on this list will help to illuminate the history of anarchist sensibilities in art.



The intention of this list is to help to foster the creation of media with anti-authoritarian and offbeat bents. We encourage the sharing of ad spoofs, political posters and anything else which may not conform to the arbiters of good taste. We tend to have an anti-CopyRite orientation and believe that artistic creation is fostered by cooperation and repurposing of images. There are no rules or censors – as this is an unmoderated list. The only requirement is that you be a member of the list to post to the list.
