This group was formed to help organize events and efforts by Z scale model railroaders in the greater southern California area. We meet at regional model railroad shows and meetings held by related organizations, such as the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA). As of December 2011 we have almost 40 moduleZ built that are compatible with the "Z-Bend Track" Module Specification used by Z scale modular groups in other geographic regions in the U.S.

We have exhibited our moduleZ and Bring Your Own Z (BYOZ) layoutZ at the Anaheim 2008 and Sacramento 2011 NMRA National Train Shows, as well as at other model railroading events, such as the Great Train Expos held at the Ventura County Fairgrounds, San Diego County Fairgrounds in Del Mar (usually the first or second weekend of December), the Anaheim Convention Center (usually the first weekend of January). the Pomona Fairplex (usually in December and July) and the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa. We have also exhibited our moduleZ in nearby regions, such as the SF Bay Area Z Scale Module Cooperative (aka the BAZ BoyZ).

Feel free to join this group if you have any interest in Z scale, even if you have no trainZ or layout (and we'll do our best to help you change that sad state of affairs!).
