Many of us love to create beautiful images from repetitive patterns; as with the art of Zentangle® for instance. Everywhere we look we can find wonderful patterns; in nature, archetecture, clothing, etc. which can be a source of inspiration for pattern making.
This group will be a place to explore the use of patterns and/or tangles as inspiration for art. All types of media are welcome and can be used in combination with patterns, e.g. paint, colored pencils, collage, layers, stamps, tissue paper, melted crayon etc. to create wonderful artwork. Discover and development your our own repetitive patterns as well as use tangles to create art which is "Inspired by the Zentangle® method of pattern drawing."

This group is a place to share those explorations through discussions, critiques, and swaps. It is a place to be with friends who share a common experience, enjoyment, pleasure and growth through this creative expression.

Some swaps will be Zentangle® in nature or Zentangled® Inspired Art others will have various themes. Tiles, ATCs, postcards, inchies; all are acceptable.

Monthly Challenges will be posted.

Feedback and ideas for themes, swaps, challenges and discussion are welcome from ALL members. Participate as much as you can - or just visit to gain inspiration.
