I don't like to say weather something is Yuri or not because I do not trust
myself but... Hiromi's (main character) best friend does confess to her in a
chapter and says she feels bad that she feels like she could not compete with
Hiromi's feelings for Juli.

Also it is in JManga's Yuri section, that might be a better hint.

Very nice translation - interesting differences from scanlation. It reads really

Hey, a sequel (of sorts) to Sky-colored Girlfriend is out on JManga. This
follows the unlucky best friend from the first volume Maki and we follow her
whole life of missed opportunities to find love until she finally takes some
initiative and actually acts on her feelings.

Very nice, if sappy, Yuri romance manga I highly recommend it.

Also in the authors notes they mention how they are more into elementary and
middle-school girls so it was hard for them to make a story about collage girls!
Lol! How very nice of them to try so hard with something unfamiliar as it
genuinely turned out very well.

I quite like the sequel...much more than Sky-Colored Girlfriend. It's less
manipulative or uneven. The ending makes me hopeful in a way that Juli and
Hiromi's does not. ^_^

Seven Seas has collected the 5 original volumes into 2 omnibus volumes. Complete
Collection 1 contains the first half and 2 contains the second half of the
series.
