This is the link to "...And Shine Heaven Now!"  It's a Hellsing comic by Erin Ptah.  Not much yuri content... or subcontent, but the creator is a Sir Integra fangirl.  I hope that helps.

Its more Gender bending but I really love "Misfile" http://www.misfile.com/?page=1

"The Lounge" http://thelounge.comicgenesis.com/d/20020601.html Takes place in a comic/manga/arcade store and has several characters who are lesbians or lesbian tendencies, It also has quite a bit of adult content. Starts focusing more on the store but gets really good pretty quickly.

"Khaos Komic" http://www.khaoskomix.com/cgi-bin/comic.cgi?chp=1 covers yuri, yaoi, transgender, and coming out.

"Yu + Me: Dream" http://rosalarian.com/yume/?p=1 Started out normal but seems to be taking a fantasy / Surrealistic turn.

I read "Girly" on a regular basis. http://girlyyy. com/

Leia Weathington' s "Bold Riley" seems really excellent and I plan on wrapping myself up in it one day soon: http://www.boldrile y.2dcomics. com/

I started Gun Street Girl and thought it loads of fun, just never finished it: http://www.wickerma nstudios. com/comics/ gsg/gsg-archives .html

I just finished watching new anime "Mariaholic," which is meant to be
a comedy about a girl who is "Yuri obsessed" (by which the coy mean,
she's a lesbian) girl at a girl's school who falls under the control
of a sadistic cross-dressing guy.

The art is very good - I genuinely liked that. The surreality is good.
The VAs are recognizable "6 degrees of Yuri" actresses, which I also
liked.

But, in a nutshell, the story is about the emotional torture of a
young lesbian. Which somehow isn't reading as "funny" to me.

If I thought that this story would soften up and become more gentle, I
could deal, but knowing that Kanako's tortured misery *is* the story,
I'm fairly certain I won't be able to enjoy it.

It feels like another story in which the "comedy" is a thin mask to
give the audience a vicarious thrill of harassing a woman. Much like
the *very* thinly veiled aggression in "That Is My Master." My gut
feeling is that if you liked "Master," you'll probably like "Mariaholic."

Cheers,

Erica

I completely agree. I didn't have high expectations for this anime,
and after watching _that_ my expectations are even lower... I'll
probably wait for the subbed version of the first couple of episodes,
but don't know if I would watch if after that.

But honestly, that creature is too pretty to be a guy. If they didn't
try to make it something weird with a plot, it would have been such
an enjoyable yuri anime...

And it is very tiring that 95% of all all-girl school anime have a
guy attending it...

But, speaking on the last novel, my copy should arrive tomorrow and I will be able to spoil it as I read it. Join us on #marimite_spoilers@... for...spoilers. :-)

Did this ending ruin your day as it did mine! Knowing this I lack the interest
in reading the novels. As I have only read the manga up to a certain point and
seen season one of the anime. Now I'll never be able to admire Sachiko ever

LOL. Craig is actually describing the premise for "Nana" I believe.
The last novel has only been out a couple of days, and until Erica (or
someone else who can actually read the novels) chimes in with actual
spoilers, I'd take everything posted here regarding the last novel
with a huge grain of salt.

I think you're getting two entirely unrelated things confused. "Mariaholic" is a brand new anime that has nothing to do with "Maria-sama ga Miteru."

And the jokes everyone keeps making about Sachiko are just that - jokes.

It's not as bad as you might think.

It's important to know why Sachiko turns heel. The last novel
looks into Lillian Academy's dark secret past, that it used to be
an all girls religious academy that used Eros as a means of
achieving enlightenment. But, some 150-200 years ago Catholic
missionaries fought a great battle to liberate the school only
to have the battle end in a stalemate. The old owners of the
school agreed to abandon the school for a large sum of money,
but there was a catch. They would leave a permanent "seed"
at the school that the guardian of the school would have to fight
every year. The seed's center of power is the school newspaper
and its personification is the Lily Princess (Yurihime).
The Yurihime can turn girls bad by drawing a picture of the girl
(or more recently taking a picture) and placing it on their
chest. Then it is up to the school's champion, the Rosa
Chinesis, to duel with the bad girl with swords and remove the
picture from the bad girl's chest.

However, after Sachiko became Mahou Shoujo Rosa Chinesis, she
went down in defeat when the Yurihime distracted Sachiko by
making her think that Sachiko's fiance was watching the fight.

So, in the last novel, Yumi becomes the new Mahou Shoujo Rosa
Chinesis and defeats the bad girl and turns Sachiko back into
a baby face with the power of her sisterly love.

So, it has a happy ending.

Craig

I don't know if anyone has been watching Toradora!, which is pretty much about various love triangles. Anyway, in episode 13 one of the characters made a comment that she wondered if she was a lesbian. I have no idea if this will go anywhere, but there hasn't been any backstory for Minori yet. Her comment surprised me, mostly because I wasn't expecting anything like that in this show. She hasn't shown any interest in any male characters so far and the times when the boy who likes her tries to confess she changes the subject. I'm hoping to get more story for Minori.

Chapter 3 of Fujieda Miyabi's Chatting at the Amber Teahouse depicts Seriho and
Sarasa's first meeting.

Morishima Akiko's "The Conditions For Paradise" is about two adult women
figuring out the boundaries in their relationship--is too much freedom a bad
thing? "Beyond the Stars," the prequel, is about how they first became more than
friends. "Bathed in Sunlight Filtering Through The Trees," the sequel, is about
their trip to Malta.

Takahashi Makoto's The Rows of Cherry Trees is quite old--it's from 1957. It
centers around three members of the table tennis club at an all-girl school. The
story begins with the school tournament, where Yukiko faces off against first
her rival, then her crush.

A lot of releases happened to come out of QC all at the same time, so expect
about 20 more this week. :)

In chapter 4 of Fujieda Miyabi's Chatting at the Amber Teahouse, Sarasa is sad
because she has to go on a school trip and be away from Seriho.

Plica, by Amamiya Sae, is a realistic look at lesbian life in Japan, told in
(typically) 4-panel format. Since the topics vary from strip to strip, I'm not
writing a separate summary for each individual batch. This is the final batch of
web strips, but we'll also be scanlating some strips from the Plica book and
Anise magazine.
Please be aware that this release contains mature content.

"Megumi and Aoi," the first story in Kindaichi Renjuro's Mermaid Line
collection, is about a girl who says she's a mermaid princess.

"The Proof of Her Love," by Otsu Hiyori, is about a student whose love for her
teacher has stood the test of time.

In chapter 11 of Takemoto Izumi's Transistor Venus, Jara dresses Enus up in
costumes. A lot.
Also, we've decided to make a minor change to the title translation of Mission 8
(it's not a question of "correct" or "incorrect" translation, but of which
subtle nuance fits the story best and sounds best). You can download the updated
pages for chapters 9-10 at our website.

The releases can all be downloaded at our website: http://www.lililicious.net

Chapter 5 of Fujieda Miyabi's Chatting at the Amber Teahouse focuses on Sarasa's
school trip and her reunion with Seriho afterwards.

In the second part of Kindaichi Renjuro's "Megumi and Aoi," classmates speculate
about Megumi and Aoi's relationship.

"Salyune," by Hashimoto Ikumi and Sarashina Mizuho, is a short, sweet science
fiction story.

"For You, My Beloved," by Yoshizaki Nagi and Sasaki Aya, is about two nursing
students, Aya and Hitomi. Aya has known from a young age that she is a lesbian,
and when she falls for Hiromi, the two of them end up becoming a couple. Thanks
to Aya's influence, Hiromi begins to come out of her shell and stand up to her
strict, controlling parents. However, her newfound rebellious streak could spell
disaster for their relationship...

Supernova is a Sailor Moon doujinshi by Jesus Drug (Hayashiya Shizuru) and
Mirage House (Renko Makise). It's mainly gags about the outer senshi; we just
scanlated select parts of it. Thanks to Matt for the scans!

Hi,

Thanks and Happy New Year too! I am grateful for this unique yuri
source and I hope it will last for more than some time. Although I am
not a great talker, it has been a pleasure to witness local
discussions for the whole year because this along with wonderful
Lili's crew was something what I have really missed. I hope next year
brings us more material which we could talk about.

I wish you good luck, surprising events (in good way) and optimism in
the New Year.

Pardon my cheesiness, I promise it's rare. It's just, some things
should be spoken, occasionally :).

With kind regards,

Rinu

If i didn't know better I'd think #lililicious was a speed-subbing
group. This is impressive. Thanks for all your hard work!
