We are an orphanage-specific group for families with children from the Yueyang *County* SWI. Our email community was chartered on Saturday, September 25, 2004.

Please note: There are two orphanages in Yueyang, Hunan Province, China... a city orphanage and a county orphanage. "Yueyang County Families" is an orphanage-specific group for families with children from the Yueyang *County* SWI.

There is also another Yueyang email group, named "Yueyang" with members comprised of families with children from both (County and City) Yueyang orphanages, as well as orphanages in the cities of Xiangyin and Miluo.

Why do we need another email community, if another group already includes families with children from the County SWI? I believe a group comprised of families with children all from the same specific orphanage creates a much more intimate group, with a common bond even greater than just being from the same province or city... our children are from the same orphanage! I believe this will be a signifigant factor as the years go by.
