Description

Dedicated to the design, construction and use of skin-on-frame kayaks and other boats with an emphasis on the designs of Tom Yost.

Tom has created many designs for wood frame, aluminum folding and semi-rigid inflatable kayaks which he provides absolutely free of charge, along with detailed building tutorials. Over 1000 Yost boats have been built.

Discussion of all SOF craft is also welcomed, including traditional Greenlanders and Baidarkas, experimental designs, etc.

Nick, on that one pic of your boy with the paddle, the blades look far too wide for his hands. What you are looking for is a width that his hand can span out
