This Group is to Promote the Study of Yemenite Jewish History & Culture, and to Preserve this people's ancient religious customs and traditions among English speakers who have an interest in this field.Many of Israel's ancient most traditions were found with the Yemenites, up until the time they came up unto their own land. Unfortunately, these traditions are changing. Members will share records they have on their relatives (e.g., genealogical), or simply photographs of Yemenite men, women and children in traditional garb, or practices known to be peculiar Yemenite customs, whether in origin or in their antiquity (and once practiced by all devout Jews). The aim of this group is basically to preserve ancient Jewish Culture, or at least to make it known to future generations.
