YOUR STARS FEBRUARY 3 - 9 2004

IF IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY THIS WEEK

One of the most important things you can do for yourself this year is
to learn how to listen, hear and/or tap into your intuition. You have
an excellent chance to increase your psychic ability now. Meanwhile,
Mars/Uranus on your birthday chart sees you fighting for your right
to be yourself. Do allow relationships to evolve and don't look back.

My astro 2004 books are now on sale in Oz and the UK, NZ and SA ...

ARIES

Mars in your sign was a great thing - it gave you the rocket in your
pocket you needed to get the year started with a bang. It also may
well have made you a little too busy, perhaps even a tad over-
anxious. And now? Mars moves out of your sign and into neighbouring
Taurus. On your solar chart, this is your cash zone. If one of your
intentions for 2004 is to boost your bank account, it's time to start
doing something about that. Meanwhile, Venus moves into Aries this
week. Combined with Mars in your moneybox, you really do have a good
chance to get some bills paid now - and should still have something
left over to spoil yourself with.

TAURUS

Last week the skies cautioned you not to get too comfortable - this
week there's not much chance you could do that, even if you wanted
to. The planet of drive, determination and hot-sex-which-leaves-you-
breathless has arrived in your sign. For some Taureans, Mars' arrival
won't be all that welcome. After all, many Taureans are sensual, lazy
things who like to be left to loll around, waiting for the cows to
come home. Others of you, however, will relish the red planet's move
into your sign - you instinctively know he's going to fire you up
with drive which'll help you get your jobs done, your dreams closer
and your love life hotter. Which is it to be for you?

GEMINI

Mercury changes signs this week, moving into fellow Air sign
Aquarius. You can expect to be thinking more clearly, to be
expressing yourself more easily and to be able to see the wider,
bigger picture without even trying. You can also expect to be a lot
more philosophical now. Geminis who've had a falling out with a
friend recently will get at least one great chance to work things out
this week - use it or lose it. Geminis hoping to turn a friend into a
lover should find it much easier to find the words to make it happen
(hint: talk big). Meanwhile, your professional life gets a shot of
energy. Work as you mean to continue for the rest of 2004.

CANCER

It's a Full Moon week, so do excuse yourself if you start to feel a
little like there's a wound-up spring inside you, just waiting to be
unleashed. By the weekend, the pressure valve will have been released
and it's more than just a bit likely that whatever you've been so
anxious about will have resolved itself. Once you're feeling calmer,
take time out to ask yourself why you get so worked up about - er -
everything (?). Yes, you're ruled by the Moon and so prone to flares
of heated emotions. But surely getting all angsty once a month is not
the ideal way to live? Think about ways to relieve your anxiety -
anything from exercise to meditation could be just what you need.

LEO

The emphasis remains on your love life and Leos who need to 'have a
bit of a talk' to their beloved (or would-be beloved) are in luck. On
the one hand, this week could signal the start of some confrontations
you'd perhaps rather do without. On the other, it's a great chance to
have important conversations with (past, present and potential)
lovers or (business) partners, clearing the way to a new level of
understanding (just keep egos out of the picture). Leos who need to
see the 'bigger picture' where love's concerned can do just that now.
Finally, the Full Moon in your sign suggests it's time for you to get
in touch with your emotions - enjoy them, share them, and bless them.

VIRGO

This week, Mars makes out with Uranus in your love zone and quite
frankly, dear, sweet and modest Virgo, that could just as rude as it
sounds. Mars and Uranus are both very dynamic and exciting planets
and their positive link this week is firing up your chart like no
one's business. Yes their action could see you getting hot under the
collar when you'd rather stay cool, but that might be a good thing,
if the heat under the collar is allowed to get a little steamy (if ya
know what I mean). This is, officially, a potentially very good week
for your sex life, so enjoy! Meanwhile, Mercury's giving you the
chance to renegotiate what you need to at work.

LIBRA

Hang on to your hormones, because here comes gorgeous go-lightly
Venus tiptoeing quickly into Aries, which is (a) your oh-so-important
opposite sign and (b) your love zone. Venus here is good news for
those of you who want a little more romance in your life. It's not
such great news for those of you who're under pressure at work
though - Venus could incline you to laziness now, so be aware of
that, if you have professional duties and obligations which won't
wait. If you're sexy but single and looking for love, this really
could be your lucky week - even if you don't meet the person of your
dreams, at least one very tasty flirtation looks likely. Enjoy the
fun!

SCORPIO

Your ruler Mars meets unpredictable Uranus this week, which is great
news for those of you who've been feeling a touch bored of late. This
celestial rendez vous means you can expect at least one very
interesting turn of events to keep you interested … and the chances
are these events are going to be somehow connected to The One You
Love (or Loved, Would Love To Love or Who Loves You). Mars also gives
you a chance now to (a) have some very passionate moments with your
beloved (b) to get into a heated argument with a lover (past, present
or potential) and/or someone you consider an enemy or (c) clear the
air with a VIP. The choice is yours.

SAGITTARIUS

It's important you communicate your ideas and thoughts, your
intentions, desires, plans, dreams and needs now. The skies are
combining to boost your powers of communication, so take advantage of
the helping hand they're offering you. But wait, there's more! As
well as a newfound uber-ability to make you point perfectly, you can
also expect a clearer head than you've had in some time. By the
weekend, a lot of the pressure will be off and you'll have a chance
to think through the roller coaster of events you've experienced
recently. You don't have to make any big decisions, but the skies are
on your side, if you decide that you want and need to. Meanwhile,
creative Sadges get an extra boost now.

CAPRICORN

One thing about being a Capricorn is that you're so rational. This in
turn means that you're very often right about 'stuff' - mainly
because you don't jump to conclusions, and/or allow emotions or
wishful thinking to get in your way when you're making big 'life
decisions'. Lucky you. Right now, though, some of the decisions you
made earlier may need to be rethought. There's a good chance it's the
right time for you to re-consider some of the life philosophies you
thought you had all figured out. Perhaps what you thought was oh-so-
right for you is no longer that. Or perhaps what you thought was
wrong has finally actually proved itself to be the best thing which
ever happened to you.

AQUARIUS

When the Moon is full in Leo, as she is this week, relationships are
highlighted for you. On the one hand, the Full Moon in Leo can
signify the end of a romance. It can signify the end of one stage of
a love affair, and the start of a new one. It can herald delays where
love is concerned. Whatever the case for you now, do also remember
that the Full Moon in Leo is dramatic - so keep your Aquarian cool as
much as you can, even if/when those about you are losing theirs.
Happily, Mercury enters your sign this week and Venus moves into your
communications zone, so you'll find it much easier to talk through
whatever you need to.

PISCES

This week, Mars links to Uranus in your sign, suggesting that
Pisceans who've been secretly planning to break free of the ties
which bind could suddenly do just that. But you don't have to do
anything too dramatic - in fact, you'd do best mind how you go, as
the energies are high and chances are what's firing you up so much
now will have settled down by next week. If it's sex on your mind,
though, you're unlikely to be able to do much to quell your
excitement. Hey, go with the flow and get a glow. This is a great
time to be a Piscean, so make the most of it. Cashwise, Venus is
about to make your life a little easier.

MOON MEDITATION: "Swollen feelings, lasting emotions..."

If you feel as though you've been swollen up with feelings, and
they're now slowly being released, like air out of balloon, you felt
the Venus/Jupiter link strongly.

If you feel as though the past few days have brought you too much
love, or that you've gone overboard emotionally, that you've been
excessive where romance is concerned or that you've been overly
optimistic, you've been feeling the Venus/Jupiter link strongly.

The good news is that the energies of Venus/Jupiter are still being
carried and cared for by the Moon in Venus' sign of Taurus.

This weekend, sure, get your feet back on the ground. But don't doubt
what you've been feeling. Venus is about love and Jupiter is about
faith. Mercury's smiling as he brings more information. And the
Taurus Moon is a safe bearer and keeper of it all.

MOON MEDITATION: "Jam-packed warm fuzzies..."

Today, under the Taurus Moon, Venus links powerfully to feelgood
factor and full force funster Jupiiter.

OK, so perhaps where love is concerned, You Know Who wants a little
more freedom than You Truly want to allow. Or perhaps you're
wrestling with the question of "Am I loving too much?"

However, if the Venus/Jupiter link is being sweet to you, you could
find that today brings you as many warm fuzzies as you can fit in
your heart and a renewed faith in love.

In honor of the day's auspicious alignment, here's a favourite

MOON MEDITATION: "Flying the friendly skies ..."

The skies are the very friendly right now. Mercury's making out with
Venus, suggesting that there will be sweet words spoken and written
now.

Meanwhile, Venus (flirt that she is) is headed for a meeting with the
biggest feelgood daddy Jupiter, later this week. Before that, though,
she's making a harmonious link to the karmic nodes. If you know you
need to get out and meet new people, this is the time for it.

With the Moon in impulsive Aries egging us all on, and headed for a
rendez vous with impetuous Mars, it's a day to be care which whims
and fancies you follow, because there'll be no going back.

Plans you put in motion a few days ago now come to fruition.

YOUR STARS WEEK BEGINNGING JANUARY 26 2004

IF IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY THIS WEEK

You have a fabulous Venus/Jupiter link in your birthday chart, which
augers well for love and money over the next 12 months. Just
do 'overdo' it in either of those areas, and you could find yourself
in a fabulous position this time next year. Thinking positively and
not trying to control others is the secret to your coming success.

ARIES

If 2004 started with obligations and duties than you'd have liked,
you might be pleased to know the start of February sees you in a much
more comfortable position. Hopefully you've been able to learn the
lessons the skies have been teaching you about personal power. The
most crucial fact, perhaps, is that while it's oh so important to
take others into consideration, looking after number one is also
vital, at least some of the time. That doesn't mean being selfish but
let's face it - as each day goes by, you're more and more able to
stand (even dance) on your own two feet. So what are you waiting for?
Put the music on and start celebrating the fun while ye may.

TAURUS

Are you sitting comfortably? Good. Now just go and get a handful of
pins and needles, or perhaps a lump of wood, or anything else you
think might be not quite so easy to lounge around on. How come?
Because it's important that you don't get too comfortable now. Yes,
you've probably earned at least a little 'lounging around time'.
You've been as constructive as you've been inventive and adaptable.
But the planetary meetings going on now suggests you could be about
to rest on your laurels, relax and recline perhaps just a teensy bit
more than you should. If you know you've earned the break, of course,
enjoy it. If you know you need to keep on keeping on, do just that.

GEMINI

Have you ever wondered what you'd do if you won the lottery? Would
you buy your workmates all a hearty meal and announce your
retirement, or would you stick your fingers up at the boss and walk
out the door smiling? If you disliked your job, of course, the
temptation to take the second course of action could be almost
overwhelming. And that's a bit like your life right now. Not because
you're guaranteed lottery wins, but because you have a chance to
either act like a gracious winner - ie: in a way which will ensure
your relationships endure - or to act in a less dignified matter,
telling people "I told you so - nah nah nah". Which is it to be?

CANCER

If it's sweet words of love you need to hear, this could be your
lucky week as Venus links to Jupiter. 2004 is about thinking
positively for wee Crabs - as well as about learning how to act like
a real grown up. This week, though, the sweet words you hear could
test your maturity - after all, how can you act like an adult when
your knees have turned to jelly and your heart's beating so loud you
can't think rationally? Don't even bother trying! And who will be
whispering these sweet words to you? Could come from someone very
close or literally very far away. And if Cupid's Arrow doesn't hit
you? Then you could be about to get lucky re cash.

LEO

You've had Neptune in your love zone since 1998. What this means will
vary from Leo to Leo, but - overall - Neptune can make real life seem
dreamy, he can be poetic and romantic at best and deceptive at worst.
He can make your love life feel like the climax in a movie or like a
fantasy you wish you could escape but can't seem to. This week, your
ruler, the Sun, moves over Neptune in your love zone. This will
highlight what already 'is' for you, lovewise. If your intuition
tells you that you need to make changes where love's concerned, this
is the week to listen to your heart and see which way it's urging you
to go. Go gently.

VIRGO

If You Know Who's been giving you a hard time, you might be pleased
to hear that You Know Who is about to put a sock in it. If you've
been lectured too much for your tastes over the past few week, you
might be pleased to hear that the lectures are over and it's now time
for you to get a word in edgeways. This is a week when you're allowed
to forget that you're supposed to be a chaste and modest sign and to
instead (a) talk yourself up and (b) say the kinds of things
(especially sweet things) that you'd usually be too shy to utter. If
you suspect a few kind words could heal one hurtful situation, keep
talking.

LIBRA

For quite some time, you've had Saturn on your back, goading you to
work longer, harder and faster. He's a tough old guy when he wants to
be, and doesn't care if he spoils your fun. He just wants to make
sure you keep advancing through life at the best possible pace,
ticking off all the boxes your ambitions are urging you towards. This
week, though, you can expect to feel more than ever that you've had
enough of serious old Saturn and his task master ways. Venus/Jupiter
falls across the parts of your chart which are more inclined to navel
gazing and looking after your well being. Go for it. This is the week
to treat yourself to some quality time out.

SCORPIO

Sometimes we need to travel for inspiration. What we have at home all
the time loses its lustre and we stop seeing the magic in the every
day. This week, though, a link between the Sun and Neptune in
Aquarius suggests you don't even have to leave your house to find
some real inspiration. Perhaps it's members of your family who are
inspiring you to great heights. Perhaps it's a newfound sense of
belonging. Or perhaps it's that you've decided to take some time out
from the rat race to focus on your spiritual side. Whatever the case,
this week could prove enlightening, for Scorps who have the time and
inclination to take a moment out from the mayhem to just 'be'.

SAGITTARIUS

Sometimes our choices are plain and simple. Do you want tea or
coffee? Do you want to holiday at home or overseas? Should you or
shouldn't you take an umbrella? This week, it looks as though you're
being given a plain and simple choice that's connected to work and
home. How important is working on your career versus spending time
with your family? If that sounds like a loaded question, it's not
meant to be. You are allowed to say that you need to work hard right
now - but if you do, make sure you explain it to the folks back home
who'll understand you have a job to do, but would dearly love to see
a little more of you.

CAPRICORN

There's a wee little asteroid up in the skies who goes by the name of
Juno. She's associated with marriage and jealousy - her husband Zeus
was an intolerable cheat who drove her half mad with his womanising.
This little Juno has now entered your sign. This doesn't mean your
beloved is about to start having it off with everyone available, nor
does it mean that you're inevitably going to be flying into fits of
jealous rage as Juno makes her way through your sign. It does mean,
though, that you are a little more prone to succumbing to the green
eyed monster now and that you'd do well to double check any feelings
of jealousy which get past your usually excellent radar.

AQUARIUS

One of the best things about Aquarians is that you're so practical.
You rarely waste time sitting around and contemplating your navel
unless it's done in a sensible and constructive way. Nor are you
given to pointless flights of fancy. You rarely buy into the new age-
y ways of thinking. Eg: "Ooooo spooky, that must mean this …" if you
get my drift (if you don't it's because you're too smart to
understand me!) Having said all that, this week a luscious link
between the Sun and Neptune in your sign means you can expect to get
a little more spiritual and indeed even spooky. If ever you were
going to trust a hunch, for example, this would be the week for it.

PISCES

Venus in your sign is good news. Sure, she's a lazy girl, and
sometimes she likes to sit around doing her nails and working on her
tan … and stuff … just like any beauty. On the positive side, though,
she brings loveliness and grace, charm and elegance with her, and as
she moves through your sign, her gifts rub off on you. This week, she
links to Jupiter, who's in reverse in your love zone. If you have
some making up to do, do it now. If you think you're loving someone
just a little too much, take a little step back. But whatever else,
if you expect at least one moment of marvellous romance this week,
you just might get it.

MOON MEDITATION: "Good news travels slowly now ..."

An interesting link will occur in about a week. Having just shaken
hands with serious old Saturn, Mercury is now headed for a rendez
vous with that girlie delight lover Venus.

If you've been waiting for news which just won't come, it could yet
be on its way. It won't happen overnight but a change connected to
facts and information is coming.

Before it does, though, one task remains. Have you accepted what you
know so far? Are you still making excuses for someone? Have you taken
a long and considered look at your most perplexing dilemma? And what
did you find? Do you feel certain? Are you thinking too narrowly?

Mercury/Saturn may well have caused blockages where communications
are concerned. If you suspect your email didn't get through, your
text message delivery failed or You Know Who heard something untrue
about you, you might be right. You may also be thinking too
pessimistically. Saturn is about limitations but Mercury loves our
minds to be free.

If it's not a temporary blockage, though, but something far more
concrete which is stopping you from accepting the facts and moving
forward, get ready to see life in a clearer light.

MOON MEDITATION: "Getting and staying sober ..."

Venus the planet of love and Saturn the planet of lessons are meeting
up now, bringing us all a chance to get serious about love, to take
love more seriously, to do what we said we were going to for someone
we love and/or to sort out our cash flow.

When Venus and Saturn meet up as they will in the next 24 hours,
commitment is less scary and looking realistically at the state of
our love lives is worthwhile.

Take a long sober stare at how you're loving. Are you being honest
with yourself and each other? If so? Plan for the future. If not?
Turn it around. Mercury/Saturn just around the corner means facing
the facts is easier than usual.

The Moon in Capricorn will make it easier to sort through love and
money issues today ...

SKY WATCH
Week beginning January 18
From the Sydney Sunday Telegraph's body+soul section
http://www.sundaytelegraph.com.au/bodysoul

Few of us (with the exception of the odd extremely realistic
Capricorn, of course) like to be told to 'face facts'. And yet,
that's exactly what many of us are being asked to do right now.

Since mid-December, the planet of facts and information, Mercury, and
serious Saturn have been holding a series of 'meetings'. Together,
they've been challenging us to wake up and smell the coffee beans, to
accept the truth and to stop kidding ourselves.

Think back to mid-December. Around about then, it's very possible you
started to wonder about something. Or perhaps you started to
fantasise. Either way, if you look back, have you been 'drip fed'
facts since? Given hints and clues about what you're so curious
about? Or perhaps you've had cold hard and impossible-to-ignore facts
thrust in your face?

If any of that resonates, you've been feeling the Mercury/Saturn
oppositions strongly. Now, if you're the head-in-the-sand type, if
you like to live in lala land or if you can't handle the truth,
chances are you're not too happy about the info which is coming to
light now. But handle it we must. For our own good (of course).

On the other hand, if you're the type who's brave enough to accept
that knowledge is power, you're in luck. Use the information at your
fingers tips now, wonder no more and make your move, based on what
you now know. Pluto is giving us the power to change things, and
Saturn is helping us to be constructive where love and money are
concerned.

In Moon news: she's in cheerful Sagittarius today (great for parties
and socialising), moves into work-harder Capricorn on Tuesday (so
work harder), and is new in Aquarius on Thursday at 8.06am DST (so
make your New Moon wish list).

MOON MEDITATION: "Let me explain ..."

Moon in Scorpio - headed for the New Moon next week

Mercury is now in the sign of Capricorn. Wherever you have Capricorn
on your chart (we all have it somewhere), it's going to be just a
little bit easier to talk things through, if you're serious about
sorting that 'stuff' out.

Mercury has a major advantage when he's in Capricorn, - he almost
always sounds like he knows what he's talking about, even if he's
just fudging. Which means we do too.

But do be aware - we're still not 100% out of the Mercury
retrograde 'shadow period' - this means that although Mercury has
gone forwards again, he hasn't quite got back to the point in the
skies where he was when he started going in reverse.

That won't happen until January 26 (AEST) - which means if you're
still waiting for answers to questions posed in the past few weeks,
don't give up just yet - they could still come to you.

Meanwhile Venus has moved into snuggly, love-bunny Pisces. Expect
more cuddles, poetry and wine, song, romance and sweet (if unusual)
dreams.

MOON MEDITATION: "Being carefully carefree..."

Thursday 15th - Quarter Moon in Libra

Relationships which have been boring you to tears get a kick today -
Venus and Uranus are meeting up in the sign of Pisces, and only the
exciting will do.

Relationships (romantic or not) which make you feel trapped now get
busted. If you want love and freedom rolled all into one, today could
be your lucky day. Unusual desires could be sated.

As well as Venus/Uranus, we have a Venus/Mercury aspect which just
keeps getting tighter. Use your brain when it comes to love and
money, say your piece, negotiate if it ain't working for you, keep
the lines of communications open and expect the unexpected.

This is a day to be a little bit careful - and if you can't be
careful be carefree.

MOON MEDITATION: "Lost in the unusual..."
Moon in Libra

Wednesday 14th

Venus moves into dreamy Pisces late tonight and meets up with
electric Uranus instantly. Feelings are drawn to fantasy and romance,
and a sudden or unexpected meeting may bring electric results. It
will be easy to get caught up in dreams of desire and yearnings for
freedom under this energy. Find something to lose yourself in that is
unusual and perhaps eccentric. The next few weeks see us all awash
with love and strength to share with others. As Venus moves through
Pisces the need to give selflessly becomes strong. Romantic idealism
dominates all thought and action. The urge to lose oneself into the
bliss and magic of togetherness lures us all.

MOON MEDITATION: "Staying silly ..."

In November, the eclipses were the official start of the astrological
silly season.

Some seers and sooths called the Harmonic Concordance eclipse "the
Quickening", and it does seem as though life's sped up since then.

Meanwhile, Uranus changing signs isn't slowing life's pace down for
most people, either. The trick to working with the Uranian energies
now, is to go with the flow.

With Uranus into psychic Pisces, flashes of intuition is also
possible now. The Virgo Moon today should help us discriminate
between what's fantasy and what's a genuine hunch or sixth sense.

SKY WATCH
Week beginning January 11
From The Sydney Sunday Telegraph's body+soul section

As you may have noticed, the planet Uranus has been getting more than
his usual share of column inches lately, mainly as he's just changed
signs. As he's such a slow moving planet, this is a relatively rare
occurrence.

He's been in Aquarius since the mid-90s, where he's been credited
with revolutionising technology and the way we communicate en masse
via the Internet, amongst other things.

Now he's finally in Pisces and moving forwards, where he'll stay
until 2011). Many astrologers expect him to change the face of
religion here, and, for the record, that his Pisces sojourn will also
see dramatic turnarounds for companies dealing with Piscean/Uranus
products such as bottled water and Internet music downloads.

But with Uranus, it's always a case of expect the unexpected. Uranus
is the most unpredictable planet, and the one connected with chaos
theory. Where Uranus goes, excitement usually follows. Uranian
energies are electric, dynamic, and a little like those you can
sometimes feel around the time of an eclipse.

This week, Venus meets up with Uranus. This is the first major 'close
encounter' Uranus has had since June, and we're all going to feel it.

Some of the most likely ways that Venus/Uranus is going to translate
are: the last thing you expect lovewise happens; surprise news
connected to cash arrives; a sudden bolt of love out of the blue
strikes (February-born Pisceans should most especially hang on to
their hormones).

In a nutshell - think of the unpredictable, then add love or money,
or both, into the mix, and you have a sense of one of the strongest
astro themes this week. (Venus also rules sexy undies, though, so if
you want to use the energies more creatively, try surprising your
partner with a pair on Thursday night).

Uranian energy is as powerful as it sounds, in a sweep-you-off-your-
feet kind of way. The best way to work with it, is to breathe calmly,
and to flow, changes and turnarounds, not clinging.

And in Moon news: la Luna moves into Virgo today, into Libra on
Tuesday night (also a good night for couples) and into Scorpio on
Friday morning.

MOON MEDITATION: "More healing for those who have faith"

These first few days of January have had a lot of healing action.
Today a luscious link involving Jupiter, Chiron, the Sun and North
Node suggests there is yet more healing energy around for those who
seek it.

To tap into it, be brave enough to admit where you have been hurt. Be
confident that this hurt, too, shall pass. And be confident that the
outlook for the future is bright.

When Chiron's around, it's often just a matter of acknowledging the
pain, which helps make it dissipate or even disappear. With Jupiter,
it's a matter of having faith. The Node is about your destiny. And
with the Sun, it's a matter of looking after yourself.

MOON MEDITATION: "Getting and doing ..."

Guess what? Mercury's no longer retrograde and the Moon's nearly full.

Jupiter and Chiron have helped with so much healing for so many, and
Uranus is going to help many more get in touch with their spiritual
sides very soon.

In 2004, we should keep our eyes wide open for opportunities.

It's a year to learn to trust our hunches (and never to mess with
someone else's).

As the Full Moon dawns now, think about what you need to let go of.

If you feel as though you've let go of so much that there's nothing
else to cast away, just remember this and act upon it:

YOUR STARS JANUARY 6 - 12 2004

IF IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY THIS WEEK

Love and money are both very well starred in your birthday chart.
Where cash is concerned, take control of your finances early in 2004
for best results. Love will be best for Cappies who are brave enough
to look deeply into their love life - past, present and future. A
year when being cheerfully confident in your abilities will get you
furthest.

ARIES

It's said we can never have 'everything' - as in, we can never have a
great job, the perfect apartment and a fabulous partner all at the
same time. Do you believe this? Hopefully not. Whatever your thoughts
on the matter, the good news is that the Moon is Full in Cancer this
week, which means the end is nigh for a problem, glitch and/or
dilemma re your home life, where you live and/or about the
person/people you live with. The issue probably won't just magically
disappear by itself though - you probably need to pull the problem
apart and see how best to put it back together again. Meanwhile, work
just got a whole lot easier. So now … how's your love life?

For a more detailed look at the week's astro-weather:

TAURUS

Finances look promising, and your popularity at work could easily
translate as extra cash, if you keep on keeping on. In fact, if
you've been thinking about asking for a little more pay, this week
might be just right for asking since (a) it's the start of the year
and (b) Venus in your work zone is linking lusciously to Pluto in
your money box. If your boss is in a good mood, and you've been
working hard, the skies most certainly support you in asking. What's
more, one of your lessons in 2004 is about your commitment to clearer
communication - now's the time to perfect those skills as you broach
the tricky subject of cash. Meanwhile, love looks well starred for
you.

GEMINI

It's still all about money and love. Let's start with love. If you
already have a partner, Mercury is challenging you to improve your
communication skills. If you have a message you need to get through
to your beloved, speak now, while the planets are on your side. If
you're single, now is the time to talk about it with friends - work
through your ideas about love and see if you need closure from any
past relationships. Meanwhile, where cash is concerned, the Full Moon
in your money box suggests that it's the end of one financial cycle
and the start of another for you. You are still being urged by the
skies to invest in something long-term and relatively risk-free.

CANCER

As you might know, you're ruled by the Moon. This means you're extra
sensitive to the Moon's phases - this week, the Moon is full and not
only that, she's full in your sign. This is big news for you (not
quite as big as an eclipse in your sign, but still important). Full
Moon are about letting go and moving on. The New Year is a great time
to do that. You of all the sign struggle to let go of the past - so
this week, try this: write a list of all that you know you need to
let go of, not just from 2003 but from the past decade. Then, on
Thursday morning, tear the list up joyously. Just say goodbye!

LEO

Sometimes we know we need to make changes in a most important
relationship, but we're worried about rocking the boat. We think that
if love is going OK, then why meddle with it? Fair enough. But
sometimes, a change is what's needed to breathe life back into our
relationships, so rather than being scared, we should look for loving
gestures we can make, to make the love feel brand new. This week, as
Venus and powerful, passionate Pluto meet up across your relationship
zones, keep your eyes open for ways to transform your love,
brightening it up for the New Year. Being passionate, being
passionately honest, going deeper into your love and/or getting
yourself some sexy knickers are just some possible ploys.

VIRGO

If one friend - or a group - have been causing you problems of late,
it's time to turn the page. Getting angry with people rarely achieves
anything and is not your preferred style, anyway. See if you can use
the power of the Full Moon now to either agree to disagree with
someone who's been causing you concern or to make up and start all
over again. Meanwhile, your ruler Mercury changes direction this
week, so it looks as though problems on the home front could be about
to sort themselves out - with a little help from you and your best
ideas, of course. Lovewise, Venus in your well being zone suggests
exercising with your (intended?) beloved could get you both nice and
steamy.

LIBRA

You more than most signs have had the Mercury retrograde cycle in
your face - that's because Mercury is the communications planet, and
he's been going backwards in your communications zone. It sounds like
a double whammy and it was - but it ends this week. This means that
it's going to be much easier for you to get your message across than
it has been over the past month. But there's more to it than that.
The best news of all is that, where you've been going over and over
one issue in your head, chances are you've been given some very
important info from the heavens to help you make up your mind about
what to do next. So … over to you.

SCORPIO

Some weeks are a little tricky astrologically. There are planetary
bust-ups going, and it's not much fun, trying to look for the good in
it all. Not so long ago, for example, your rulers Mars and Pluto had
a bit of a shouting match. Who won doesn't really matter - what does
matter is that it might have done your head in a little over December
and New Year. The good news is that these two are still talking
things through, and have made arrangement to have a more civil chat
any time soon. This means you can stop worrying about life exploding
when you least expect it to and instead look forward to a renewed
sense of purpose and increased amounts of energy.

SAGITTARIUS

Cash remains a big issue, even as life settles down. The trick where
money's concerned is to work it so you feel confident about your cash
plans - easier said than done, of course, but believing it's possible
is the first step. What would need to happen, for you to feel
financially secure? The Full Moon's giving you a chance to start a
new chapter where money is concerned. It's also asking you to think
about whether or not believing in yourself and your ability to look
after yourself might help. If you need some encouragement believing
in your talents and assets, keep your eyes open. A sexy Venus/Pluto
link suggests someone nearby thinks you're the bee's knees (yes it
could be your mother).

CAPRICORN

Relationships really are highlighted for you now. If you're not
currently involved, now's the time to take a look at your past
relationship(s) and to rationally analyse them. What did they teach
you, and what do they teach you about the friendships you're enjoying
now? If you're involved and life's great, congratulate yourself and
enjoy - you're obviously putting in the hard work Saturn requires.
And if you're involved, but your love feels like it's on shaky
ground, stay Capricornly calm now. The Full Moon could get your over
excited, but doing something rash surely won't help. Instead, double-
check the structures your love life rests upon. Is it sitting on
solid ground and, if not, how could you fix that?

AQUARIUS

It may well be time to reassess your hopes and dreams. Think about
where you were this time last year. What wishes did you have in store
for 2003? Where have they come true and where is it clear you need to
rethink them? Mercury has been going backwards in the part of your
chart related to your hopes and dreams, suggesting you've had a
chance to rethink some of your dearest plans. Hopefully you've
gathered important new information, too, so you're clearer on what
you should be wishing for. If that's the case, and you know you need
to rethink your dreams, this is a good week to start that. Work from
the assumption that they are likely to come true.

PISCES

Work is highlighted for Pisceans now. If you have a secret work
project or plan you're keen to keep under wraps, do nurture the
dream, and also be careful who tell about it until you're ready. If
you're thinking about getting involved with someone you work with,
now could be the time to let them know about it (nudge nudge). If
you're already involved with someone at work, this could be a rather
lovely week for the two of you … and if none of the above applies,
chances are you're going to be feeling good at work anyway. Expect an
end to professional delays and misunderstandings, and do speak up, if
you've got a brilliant idea to impress your boss with.

YOUR STARS DECEMBER 29 - JANUARY 4 2003

If It's Your Birthday This Week
This year you could (a) find your soulmate (b) write a lot of poetry
(c) get confused about love or money (d) make a motza (e) a
combination of (a) - (d) Do use this year to work on your temper.
Don't expect everyone to think on the same wavelength as you all the
time.

ARIES

With Mercury retrograde in your work zone, you have an ideal chance
to review your work situation. Strive for truth and you can't go too
far wrong. It's not so much what you say but the way you say it now.
Use this Mercury cycle to clear your desks of any clutter you know
you should have cleared earlier and let the facts float to the
surface. And do remember that misunderstandings now are so common
that not all of them are worth worrying about. Not at work? Use this
cycle to declutter your home. Where love's concerned, some Aries
might feel they've found their soulmate. Re money: no one's thinking
straight right now - keep your friendships happy by neither borrowing
nor lending.

TAURUS

Rather than going like a bull in a china shop to deal with 'the
obvious', try using Mars in your secrets zone to deal with stuff
you'd rather not think about - eg: 'stuff' which happened in 2003
which you're keen to leave behind now. Think about it and wave it
goodbye in a pink bubble. If you want to get really spooky, write a
little list of events which happened during the past 12 months which
you want to leave behind. Then tear the list up or burn it.
Meanwhile, 2004 starts off with a couple of tough planetary links and
one really nice one. To maximise your pleasure, dream a little, but
keep on doing what you know you have to do.

GEMINI

So what's on your New Year's resolution list? How about including "I
resolve to sort out my cash flow (and maybe even invest)"? This week
the Sun and Saturn combine to remind you that spending up big non-
stop throughout the silly season is probably not the answer to your
financial prayers. Rather, see if you can take a slower and steadier
approach to spending. Meanwhile, Mercury has been going backwards in
your love zone (though he's now reached your cash zone). This has
offered you a wonderful chance to rethink your most important one to
one relationships. What are your findings? He's retrograde for
another week yet, which leaves you a few more days to rethink what
you need to where relationships are concerned.

CANCER

There's a Full Moon coming next week in your sign - your annual
chance to break with years of tradition and to let go of what you no
longer need. There's a very good chance that what you no longer need
is stuffed under your bed, into bookshelves or jammed into a garage.
Clutter - you know you love it. Whether or not you're a hoarding
Cancerian, perhaps what you need to let go of pre-2004 is mental
junk. Sometimes the best way to let go of the rubbish we carry about
in our heads (and hearts) is to sit down and send love and
forgiveness to someone who's upset us. Give it a go, if you think
it's so crazy it might work.

LEO

Hear ye! The planets are asking you to extend your Christmas season
of good cheer and to remain of goodwill, even when you've had enough
of turkey, presents and relatives to last you a lifetime. Your ruler,
the Sun, makes a tough angle to Saturn at the start of this week and
that could translate as the desire to say "Bah humbug!" which would
be a shame. Sun/Saturn is also a chance for you to get serious about
your plans for 2004, so why not go with that, and start to organise
yourself for the coming 12 months. What you put in place now could
stand you in good stead. Don't let others fence you in or meddle with
your ambitions and dreams.

VIRGO

Freedom is still the issue of the day for you. And this week, some
tough Saturn links suggest you're not going to put up with having
your precious time taken up by anyone you don't chose to share it
with. If you're still on holidays post the hard work you put in in
2003, feel free to turn your phone off and to take time out, if you
know you can afford to. Venus and Neptune meet up in your well being
zone this week, so you can expect at least one very strong urge to
get yourself pampered. Massage anyone? Indulge yourself, as you plan
the weird and wonderful new love tangents you've got ahead of you in
2004. Prepare to be surprised.

LIBRA

If someone accuses you of having been giving them mixed messages
recently, don't get in a huff - instead, have a listen to their
complaints. They really might have a valid point. And don't worry if
they do - although there are some tensions in the air this week, a
luscious and potentially very romantic Venus//Neptune meeting happens
to fall in your romance zone, which is a classic thing to make you
go "Mmmm!" (It's also a thing which might make you go "Hmmm…" because
it might be a time when someone tries to pull a swifty - but as long
as you keep your eyes open, the truth looks likely to emerge.
Meanwhile, Mars asks you to stand up for yourself without losing your
cool.

SCORPIO

Hey, it's nearly New Year's Eve and it's a time when the whole world
is supposed to be having f-u-n. And so? So make sure you're one of
the people with smiles on their faces. There are some tough aspects
around and your ruler Mars is involved in at least one of them. Some
Scorpios will be having problems with authority figures now - be that
snitchy moments with your Mum and Dad over the turkey leftovers or
disputes with your boss about how late you should or shouldn't work
this week. Authority figures also include police and anyone else who
likes to be 'the boss'. Just remember to go easy where these people
are concerned now, and you should sail into 2004 smiling.

SAGITTARIUS

You're one of the signs (along with Gemini) who needs to go easy on
the cash this New Year. You're also one of the most generous signs
around. You'd think you had bottomless pockets sometimes, the way you
throw it around. Yes, we love you for it! But right now, Saturn and
the Sun are combining to teach you a few important financial lessons.
Next week will bring a Full Moon when cash matters will come to a
climax - make it a stunning climax not a worrying one, by being
sensible re whether or not to yourself/anyone else yet another silly
season treat. Lovewise, someone could be about to get very mushy on
you, via a note, text message or whispered sweet nothing.

CAPRICORN

The Sun in your sign makes a tough link to Saturn this week, bringing
home the lessons about yourself and your most important one to one
relationships. If you need to take a reality check where love's
concerned - perhaps about where you've been directing your love of
late, or how you've been treating your love - this is most certainly
the week for it. If your love life is fine or non-existent, the week
is still a big one for you. Saturn in your opposite sign is asking
you to look after yourself and to conserve your energies. The best
thing you can do if you feel like you're at the end of your tether is
to promise to be more patient with yourself.

AQUARIUS

Mmmm. What's that? It's a sort of shimmery aura, all around you - or
let's hope it is, anyway. This week, Venus and Neptune - two of the
most romantic and dreamy planets - meet up in your sign. At the very
worst, they could signal deception. Perhaps you're trying to pull the
wool over someone's eyes or they're trying to do the same to you. And
at the very best? This is one of those weeks when two souls can meet
and merge. Somewhere in the middle of those two possibilities is the
chance for you to come across as loving and as someone who inspires
others. This is still a very good time for you to take as much time
out as you need.

Aussie readers - call 190 222 4466. Call's cost $1.05 a minute

PISCES

You're the most spiritual of signs, even if it takes you a lifetime
to come to terms with that. You're intuitive and a little bit psychic
and you respond brilliantly to New Age-y things like yoga and
meditation and those wild weekend dance seminars which are supposed
to unleash your sexual energy. This week, as Venus and Neptune meet
up in your secrets zone, try to get in touch with your most spiritual
inner self a little more than usual. The easiest way to do that, is
simply to feel a rush of love to your heart, even if and when others
are not on the same vibe. 2004 is going to be revolutionary for you -
start it in the best possible way.

MOON MEDITATION: "Clear and clean healing forgiveness..."

The Moon is in Capricorn in the lead up to Christmas Day.

She's also still very new, if you haven't had a chance to make your
New Moon wishes yet.

The best news is that on Christmas Day, the zodiac's lovers Venus and
Mars will be making a tender link to each other.

Here's to tender links around the world. Jupiter/Chiron suggests the
Christmas/New Year period can be as healing as you want it to be.

MOON MEDITATION: "Calling clarity ..."

Today, with the Moon in balanced and harmonious Libra, it's time for
many of us to take a deep breath, to smell the flowers and to see how
far we've come.

It's getting towards the end of the year, close to Christmas and near
to New Moon next week. Ie: it's time to think about if you're being
naughty or nice and what you're going to put on your New Year Noo Yoo
Noooo Mooon wish list.

Mercury going in reverse now makes this the perfect time of year to
cast a backwards glance. Take time out to thank those who've helped
you in 2003.

Look at where you did what you said you would in 2003 and pat
yourself on the back. Where you let yourself down? Give yourself
another chance.

Mercury's also on his way back to see Saturn again - what facts do
you need to face? What do you need to rethink - seriously? Where
could clarity help?

MOON MEDITATION: "A goal-seeking missile..."

Super-speedster Mars is finally back home in impetuous and driven
Aries, where he loves to be. Meanwhile, Mercury and Venus are in
ambitious and measured Capricorn.

This astro-combo suggests we can all be goal-seeking missiles, if we
chose to tap into the energies.

If you're trying to make a decision connected to love or money right
now: * focus and concentrate * be brave as you consider your options
* look on the bright side * analyse the details carefully * ask
serious questions of smart people * ask yourself what a very wise
person would do * go for it when you're sure.

Mercury goes retrograde tomorrow. If you have any contracts which
need to be signed and you can sign them today, do it. If not, don't
panic.

Yes, there might be a few glitches if you sign up for something while
Mercury is retrograde, but signing a contract then can also work to
your advantage - should you ever wish to re-negotiate later.

STARS DECEMBER 15 - 21 2003

If it's your birthday this week

There are two distinct themes for you this year. On one hand, it's a
year when you could surprise yourself - and everyone else - with the
amazing solutions you come up with to boring, old problems. On the
other, you could find yourself fighting to stay optimistic, as you
barely dare believe in your own brilliance. Which is it to be?

My new astro 2004 horoscope books are now on sale in Oz and the UK,
NZ and SA, Japan, Germany and lots of other places

ARIES

This is the week you've been waiting for. Really. OK, so Mercury
starts to go backwards now, which is a bit annoying for everyone. And
your fiery ruler Mars isn't making any super "hey presto!" links to
any planets. But it's the week you've been waiting for, because what
Mars is doing is finally moving out of watery Pisces and into your
sign. This is the equivalent of the Universe saying to you: "Ladies
and gentlemen of Aries, start your engines!" Mars was stuck and
stalled in Pisces for almost all the second half of this year. If
you've felt stuck and stalled yourself, now you know why. But that's
in the past and it's now full steam, pelt and throttle ahead. Va-va-
voom!

TAURUS

Just as we moved into the silly season, your ruler Venus heads into
your work zone. Of course, Venus is the planet of love, so her
presence in this part of your chart means you could end up getting,
er, a little familiar with your colleagues at the office Christmas
do. Just as likely though is that you're about to be given a hearty
pat on the back by your boss for a job well done over the past 12
months. If you've been really good, your might even get a raise now
(ask nicely). But most importantly, Venus is giving you an A1 chance
to show the people you work with just how likeable you are. Who said
that isn't 'worth' something?

GEMINI

While the rest of the world goes into a present-buying frenzy, you're
being asked to use this week to take a step back from the end of the
year cash mayhem and money madness. Instead, use this week to take a
good look at your finances. Have you used the year as constructively
as you might have done? Is there coal or glittering goodies in your
bank account? Throughout 2003, Saturn's been urging you to take the
long view when it comes to money. Now, he's asking you to evaluate
how well you've done. If you know you could've done better, don't
worry. He's feeling generous and you still have a few more months to
get it right. Start the new budget now.

CANCER

You might feel more like wrapping up presents and talking to kids
about Santa Claus, but Venus in your opposite is calling. She's
saying that it's time you took a good long look at your love life -
or lack thereof - and got real. Venus is never too tough on us, and
when she says things like "get real", she usually says "sweetie"
straight afterwards. Even so, in this part of your chart, she's
urging you to take a mature attitude to your relationship - past,
present and potential - and to see where you can learn the lessons
life's been trying to teach you. Meanwhile, Mars into feisty Aries
suggests that if you can stand up for yourself now, you'll reap the
benefits later.

LEO

Love life issues which were slightly upsetting last month can turn
around all of a sudden now and become suddenly delightfully
surprising. You Know Who may have been acting in a slightly
unpredictable manner of late, but you wouldn't have it any other way,
would you? After all, it takes a lot to keep a Leo entertained and at
least, right now, You Know Who has your full attention. Whether it's
a past, present or potential new love that's keeping you on your
toes, this week looks interesting. If you're looking at your love
life and seeing something which resembles the proverbial pair of
comfy old slippers, this is the perfect week to change that. Nudge
nudge, wink wink, say no more.

VIRGO

If there are harsh words at the start of the week, try not to take
them too much to heart. Think about what the other person is trying
to tell you, and see if you can find wisdom in it. And if you can't?
Do your best to act like cool cucumber and just stop listening. You
don't have time to waste on other peoples' nonsense now. For one
thing, your romantic life is about to hot up. For another, your ruler
Mercury's about to go into another of his backwards cycles. All in
all, there's way too much to do, without losing time on unimportant
stuff or - worse - allowing it to get you down. Promise yourself to
think 'happy thoughts' this week.

LIBRA

If you're an artistic Libran with a creative project on the boil,
sudden flashes of brilliance are not out of the question this week.
If you're a luscious Libran with affairs of the heart on your mind,
sudden turnarounds for the better are definitely on astro-offer. If
you're a Libran parent, your kids could surprise you enormously now -
happily and in a good way. There are quite a few options before you,
and most look promising. The only troubled spot looks to be around
work, where your duties and obligations could be getting you down. If
that's the case, have a serious word with someone in a position to
help you and you could suddenly turn that situation around as well.

SCORPIO

What's important now is not so much what you're saying, but how
you're saying it. If you have an important point which you know you
sorely need to make to someone, think carefully before you begin.
Have you thought about how you're going to present your side of the
story? Could injecting a little humour into the conversation help it
along in the direction you'd like it to go? Whatever else you do,
remember that the sooner you get awkward conversations out of the way
now, the better. Mercury's about to start another backwards cycle and
he's doing it in your chat zone. You'll find it much easier to get
your message across at the start of the week than at the end.

SAGITTARIUS

You're such a generous soul, but sometimes even you can't afford to
keep putting your hand in your pocket for others. If you feel you've
lent out as much as you can now, don't be afraid to be honest about
it. Yes, we know, it's the season of good will and good cheer, but
how cheery will you be if you don't look after your cash situation as
much as you look after others? Mercury about to start another
retrograde cycle - and this time in your money box - suggests that if
you can clear up confusion re cash sooner rather than later, you'll
be doing yourself a favour which could save your time and money. It
could also save a friendship or relationship.

CAPRICORN

Every year, around this time, it's as though the attention of the
world turns to you, like the eyes of the world focus on you, as if
the opinions of the world begin to appraise you. Superficially, of
course, the easiest way to cope with all the attention which
traditionally comes your way around about now is to think about your
outward appearance. And there's no doubt that December and January
are the perfect times for Capricorns to make themselves over, be that
getting a new haircut or splurging on a new wardrobe. But what about
going one level deeper this year? Worry less about what others are
seeing on the outside, and judge yourself on what you know is on the
inside.

AQUARIUS

Stop right there! OK. Breathe deeply. Have you been focussed a little
too much on 2004 lately, do you think? Have you been wondering what's
in store, more than you've been thinking about what's going on now?
There's a good chance that you've had your nose so far into the
future of late - as you wonder which paths you're going to take next -
that you're failing to see the glory all around you now, and perhaps
not quite appreciating all the good in your life to be enjoyed right
here, right now. So. What to do? Easy. Put away your thoughts about
what's coming and bring your mind back to the present. What's best
about what's going on for you right now?

PISCES

This is a week to make hay. The sun's shining (figuratively, at
least) and you've just survived a series of challenging tests. If
you've managed to keep your cool most of the time over the past six
months, while Mars has been in your sign, you've done well and
deserve to be congratulated. Mars so close to the Earth and in your
sign saw many a placid Piscean getting far hotter under the collar
than usual. But that's officially old news now. Mars has now moved
out of Pisces and into Aries (aka your money zone). But before you
get too relaxed, think about what you've learned about staying even-
tempered. Those lessons could come in very handy, sooner than you
might expect.

SKY WATCH
Week beginning December 14
From body+soul in the Sydney Sunday Telegraph

Expect life to start getting a whole lot speedier now (and not just
because we're all on the countdown to escape for Christmas).

Remember earlier this year, when Mars was in Pisces, so close to the
Earth? In fact, Mars was in Pisces for the last six months. Finally,
this week, he moves into his home sign of Aries.

This not only takes the pressure off Pisceans (who've hopefully
learned a few lessons about assertiveness during Mars' Piscean
sojourn) but also puts a rocket under the rest of us.

Mars in Aries is pure celestial firepower - Mars is about sex, anger,
testosterone, drive, battles, determination, aggression and charging
forward. His movement into Aries will affect us all, one way or
another. As a rough guide, he's now (a) helping Aries, Leos,
Sagittarians, Geminis, Aquarians, (b) barely bothering Pisceans and
Taureans, and (c) making life slightly tenser for the rest of us.

For the signs listed under (a) and (b), it's going to be easier to
accomplish what you have to, and to stand up for yourself in any
disputes that happen now. And for the rest of us listed under (c)?
Getting what we need to get done will still be possible, but there
could well be a bit more angst along the way.

Since it's unlikely any of us is going to be spared the excitement of
dealing with people being poked and prodded by Mars, the trick now,
as the Martian energies go off, is for us all to be as tolerant as
possible (hopefully easier, as Christmas approaches).

The other big news is that Mercury goes retrograde this week. Expect
a few more communications glitches than usual and the odd travel plan
gone awry. But there's more to Mercury going backwards than that -
more about which next week.

MOON MEDITATION: "Powerful times..."
Moon in Cancer

Today a powerful aspect between the Sun and Pluto suggests the best
way to win an argument is to back down.

Power struggles are all too likely now - but unless you're willing to
fight to the death (or at least to fight yourself into a very
unpleasant situation) you'd do well to back off, if it's clear
someone's not happy about the way things are going.

Not to say that we should be wimps - Pluto would never encourage
that - but the wise person will swallow their pride, farewell their
ego and just let it be now, if it becomes clear that horns are
locked.

Today is also a wonderful day for those who know how to use their
shamanic powers. And there's a magnetic attraction in the air.

Meanwhile, a strong Mercury/Saturn link augurs well for those who
have to work on the weekend or at least have some serious thinking
which needs to be done.

Hi all - I've done the Stars on the excellent Mr Cainer's site today

MOON MEDITATION: "Style, grace and a cheerful face ..."

Even as we speak, Venus is nearing a luscious link to Jupiter.
Whether this happens today or tomorrow depends on where you are in
the world.

Wherever you may be, though, it's worth knowing that this link is one
of the most luscious of all.

Venus is the planet of love, art, money, perfume and all Victoria's
secrets. And Jupiter? He's known as the 'higher octave' of Venus -
sort of like the Higher Self of the planet of love. He's cheerful and
generous and he always expects the best.

A meeting between these two is a definite reason to be cheerful,
under the Cancerian Moon.

It's also a good reason to wink at that person who's caught your eye,
to charm your beloved, to make some cash, to buy something beautiful
and to epitomise style, grace and the Venusian way. Have a good one.

MOON MEDITATION: "The healing power of love..."

Venus and Chiron - the planet of love and the planetoid associated
with healing - are about to meet up in the sign of Capricorn.

Although he's a healer, Chiron also has a sad side - it's said that
part of what he deals with in our charts are the wounds that will
really never heal because they are too painful, even shameful, for us
to deal with.

As Venus pours her unique care balm over Chiron today, though,
there's a chance to lessen the hurt of the wounds.

One of the best expressions of the Venus/Chiron meeting now would be
to say sorry to anyone you know you've hurt recently. It's said that
one of the only ways to heal Chiron's wounds is to acknowledge them.
