Welcome to the official, state-wide announcements lists for the Young Democrats of Washington!

YDWA is a dynamic group of more than 700 Democrats throughout the state of Washington who are under 36. Our membership includes high school, college, and graduate students, young professionals and workers, labor and community activists, Democratic party leaders, and other young people who want to make a difference. YDWA is chartered with the Washington State Democratic Central Committee (WSDCC) as the official youth arm of the party, and also maintains a charter with our parent organization, the Young Democrats of America.

This list is moderated, but anyone is free to share announcements, items of interest, news links, or any other pertinent information with us. On any day that we receive one or more submissions to this list, we will condense all of the announcements into one e-mail that will be sent out at the end of the day. To submit an announcement to the list, please send it to ydwa-owner@yahoogroups.com. If it is appropriate and of wide interest, it will be included in the daily e-mail.
