I have the 0.3.2 but still use the original. The new looks too much
like outlook express. Atleast the original has a unique look. Besides
I like pink.

It really isn't a fair comparison - Yahoo! hasn't updated that interface for
what, at least a couple of years? I'm sure by the time Mail is no longer beta,
it'll have a better integration with Calendar than the one at Google. I just
hope that they won't populate half of the screen with ads like they do with
Mail.

And be careful with what and how you share your info. Have you read this?

This is incredibly dumb, in any folder in Y! mail beta there is a [spam] button,
and there is a "this is spam" link in the [more actions] menu, and they both
function identically.

WHY??? FIX THIS YAHOO!

I can't help to think that Yahoo is working something amazing for Calendar.
Some of the features I saw on Download Squad like the Calendar Bar & Map
Integration looks like cool and Yahoo Maps rocks and is only getting better, so
Calendar team need to step it up notch with some future thinking.
I like all the "Add to my Calendar" links through out the Yahoo system but I
HATE looking at the calendar interface.

f555 here, still stuck on July 21st.

Makes ya wonder? Remember when Y! clubs and groups were separate
then merged? Spring/Summer, 2001. That was accomplished closely to
alphabetical order.

Version updates in numerical order?

Oh, I used 3 usernames yesterday; this one is f555, another f508,
the other f512.

I stand corrected. When I asked about this a few months ago, no one
could give me a link to download it. I'm going to have to mark that
link for the future just in case. :)

Ads don't bother me if they don't
1) take up more space on my screen than the page's content.
2) drain my computer's resources and slow it down,
3) take over the screen just to show a flash ad for 15/30 secs,
4) put mouseover traps all over the page,
5) change constantly (without reloading) to distract me from what I was doing,
6) break my chain of thoughts by making noises at random intervals,
7) cost me valuable time to find the hidden button to get rid of them
  8) use flash to store cookies (can't remove them without visiting a special
page on adobe).

Seems like a long list ... but I don't block ads most of the time. I understand
that's how most services remain free these days.
But when I do block them because they've gone too far, I'll make sure they are
gone for good.

what, at least a couple of years? I'm sure by the time Mail is no longer beta,
it'll have a better integration with Calendar than the one at Google. I just
hope that they won't populate half of the screen with ads like they do with

Yahoo said once before that they upgrade a bunch of
farms and then wait a couple of days and if all goes OK then
they proceed to upgrade other farms, and if something
wrong shows up then they will modify the version and
restart the process again. They do not start by any
number but we know by experience that they normally
include f 308 or f 318 or both. After that we don't know
for sure. But we know that most farms are, as is my case,
upgraded in 10 or 11 days after the release, if not interrupted
by another upgrade.

We hope that they can upgrade all farms as soon as possible.

Makes ya wonder? Remember when Y! clubs and groups were separate
then merged? Spring/Summer, 2001. That was accomplished closely to
  alphabetical order.

  Version updates in numerical order?

Oh, I used 3 usernames yesterday; this one is f555, another f508,
  the other f512.

its calendar and integrate it with the Mail Beta. I love Yahoo’s services but
its team needs to move faster.

Some of the features I saw on Download Squad like the Calendar Bar & Map

Calendar team need to step it up notch with some future thinking.

I, too, liked what I saw over at the Google Calendar... which is why I have
posted links to the tour over there for interested folks. So far we know that
improvements to our Calendar here are forthcoming in the next build of Y-Mail
Beta. (Go check out the screenshots other members have posted).

Unfortunately, it looks like the Mail Team may be having some problems as they
seem to keep updating builds without completing a wider rollout. *SIGH* Here's
hoping we'll all get to take the new calendar integration out for a test soon,
and that they will continue working on more improvements to it in the future!
