Yahoo mail is completly screwed up. It no longer retrives my non-
yahoo pop accounts correctly or at all. When it does manage to snag
a few it no longer filters them into the proper folders but somehow
puts them in the regular inbox and labels them as being addressed to
my yahoo acount instead of my non-yahoo account even thought that's
where they were actually sent. "Chatting" online with a yahoo chat
person I was told that they have been putting in new servers and
things are not working right but they are working to get it fixed
immediately. Well, it's been a week and things are still screwed up
and yahoo seems to be saying nothing about it. I have also gotten
duplicate messages occasionally. This service continues to slide
downhill at an increasingly rapid rate. It's really a shame, it used
to be a good service but slowly they are elminating all the things
that made it good including having it work at all.

There is a new poll in the polls section on whether you are having
problems with Yahoo's Plus Mail retrieveing non-yahoo POP mail.

I've been having trouble with yahoo mail for sometime now and don't know what to do anymore. The problem is that I have to log in every 3 minutes or so even though I check the box that says " sign me up for 2 weeks". This is quite a disturbing error. I've tried other email addresses I have and it doesn't do this, so I know it's yahoo. I wish something could be done about this. I'm about ready to close my mail account.

Well, if you're in New Mail, you want to somehow make your way to the
Classic options menu. One way to do this is to, say, go to Options,
then POP & Forwarding, click the "Set up or edit POP & Forwarding" link.
This will take you to the Classic options menu for POP Access &
Forwarding. Then click on the Mail link on the left-hand side of the
Window under Options, which takes you to the main Classic options menu,
then select Archive Messages from the middle of the page.

Surely there has to be a better way, but this works for me.

They took away the Preview capability, disemboweled the search tool, and now you
can't save Drafts in Classic after you mail them, even with the shift key.

Guess I'm moving to New Mail. I'm too old for this.

Sadly, I've already had to go back and forth to Classic in order to use options no longer available on New Mail. You'd think the developers would have finished New Mail before getting out the pitchforks to drive us off of Classic.

Hi,

It may bee a problem with a browser cookie. Have you tried this particular account from another browser? If you still have the problem in the other browser it's Yahoo!, If not I would clean out all temporary files including cookies from the browser you using with this account. Of course, if you still have the problem with a clean cookie set the problem is Yahoo! for sure.

Of course then you'll have to go to Bookmarks to load them, but you'll
have the addresses of those sites.

Additionally, Firefox has a "bookmark" toolbar that I use form my 11

I forgot to mention that once your mail store goes past a certain size,
archiving no longer works, and you may have to archive individual
folders. This even happens to me when I specify a narrow date range

Yahoo acknowledged that there was a problem with retrieving non-yahoo pop email. They also said that a fix was being rolled out. One reason there in not much input to the poll is that maybe there are not many folks are using this feature.

Mail retrieval problem: When I go back to mail from hibernate or sleep
I am often forced to reload the page in order for Yahoo mail to
retrieve new emails. The check mail and inbox buttons will not
retrieve mail This is hassle because I have to wait for mail to load
in memory.
