I forgot that we have a Files section.
I uploaded the file libiconv.2.dylib to the Files area.
DANGER USE AT YOUR OWN RISK THIS HAS NOT BEEN TESTED
If you replace
/Applications/XTrackCAD.app/Contents/Resources/lib/libiconv.2.dylib with this
file (make a backup first!) it *MIGHT* fix the Lion boot problem.
I tried it on Snow Leopard and with a quick "Boot and build a loop of track and
load an existing XTC file" test it didn't crash. But NO WARRANTIES.

anyone is brave enough to give it a stab, reply to me and I can send you a file
to replace in your XTrackCAD installation that *may* fix the problem.

quick (not thorough at all) check on Snow Leopard didn't show any crashes.
