Writers' Forum facilitates free flow of ideas and freedom of expression. It shares all submissions and arguments in good faith to promote educational and informative discussions.

It supports PEN Canada, Amnesty International, and the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. It also affirms the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, with special attention to Article 18 & 19 of UDHR. The Forum supports the separation of religion and state. It does not give preference to one faith over another. It also opposes any persecution or violence in the name of religion or nationalism.

The Forum offers to assist individuals, associations and organizations to host events promoting South Asian and Pakistani/Urdu literature, culture and personalities.

"Writers Forum Canada" is a unique not for profit literary association of new Canadians which has to date organized numerous literary meetings in Toronto, including symposia, readings, poetry recitals and tributes to Urdu and South Asian literary personalities. Forum has been hosting distinguished authors, critics, intellectuals, and artists, on various occasions. It is managed under an elected board of directors.
