Description

This site is intended for anyone, who is doing research on any Woodward family and their descendants. Many members of this group, however, are most likely descended from either Christopher Woodward (1594-1650), of Charles City County, Virginia, or Thomas Woodward (1600-1677), of Isle of Wight County, Virginia. Any member of this group may exchange information with any other member and perhaps obtain information from the many files that have been deposited at this site. Whenever a new file is added, all members of the group will be notified immediately. Also, every member of the group will receive any message which is posted and may respond to it, if he or she wishes to do so. This site also contains some albums of old family pictures and documents along with links to other websites for further research.

Along the left-hand margin is a Table of Contents. If you click on "Files," you will see a long list of documents, any of which can be opened and viewed by clicking on the title. Click on "Photos" and you will have albums of pictures and documents to choose from; click on the album you want to look at and, then, click on any picture you want to enlarge and read the caption below it. Click on "Links" and you will see a list of other websites, any of which can be accessed instantly by clicking on its title. Some members have shown their profiles, which can be viewed by clicking on their Yahoo e-mail addresses in the "Members" list. You can "Post" a message, which will go out to every member of the group, all at one time; or you can send a message to one individual member only by clicking on his/her regular e-mail address in the "Members" list. If you have any problems, please contact your moderator.

Spam will not be permitted at this website. Anyone posting spam of any kind will be immediately removed from membership. All new members must be approved by the moderator- Gary Woodward.
