Since 1994, a group of printmakers and bookmakers, especially interested in wood engraving, have gathered and formed an organization called the Wood Engravers' Network (WEN). The group pursues communication, encouragement, and education in this historic, yet contemporary relief medium.

This listserve is only open to WEN members. We encourage announcements of printmaking events and exhibitions and also encourage members to tell us a little about themselves upon joining. Please note, this is a group affiliated with wood engravers, as related to the art of print and book making. We do not engrave signs or jewelry or memorials. Most of our members are affiliated with their own presses or print shops, we do not pass on any job offers/requests for proposals.
