Many women who are on a spiritual path are finding our focus drawn specifically toward "women's spirituality" -- themes that speak directly to us as women living in today's society. It has many aspects: discovering a goddess we can relate to more personally than we can to a "father god"; honoring our roles as healers and nurturers; reclaiming our sacredness, and trusting in our own power and guidance; learning to perceive our "crone" stage as a time to share our wisdom and experience. We are re-discovering paths such as Paganism and Wicca; we are learning to see the sacred feminine in Christianity and Judaism; we are finding meaning in New Age, Native American, and Eastern spirituality; we are creating new and personal paths that have no name but our own.

Centers for women's spirituality are coming into being, and this group will focus on creating such centers. Whether you are involved in a women's center, or dream of starting one, or would just like to offer your "wish list" of what a women's center might offer, you are welcome to join. We will share ideas, resources and support for creating women's centers in the "real world." We will also be creating a "cyber" women's center, with a webpage to offer on-line resources for women's spirituality, as well as a directory of women's centers anywhere in the world.
