This is a moderated group devoted to the study of the life and work of William Blake (1757-1827), London artist, poet, visionary, and dissenter. We welcome all points of view and expect a diversity of opinions and approaches to Blake and his works. Discussion should be focused on Blake's life, friends, influences, contemporaries, art, and literature as well as the relevance of his religion, ideas and philosopy in its historical context and in the present.
